Liebe Familie von Saira. Beim Abschied möchte ich meine tiefste Dankbarkeit ausdrücken dafür, dass ihr mich in euer Zuhause und in eure Herzen aufgenommen habt. Von dem ersten Tag an fühlte ich mich geliebt, respektiert und wirklich gut versorgt. Vielen Dank, dass ihr mich wie einen Teil eurer Familie habt fühlen lassen und für jeden Moment, den wir miteinander geteilt haben. Jede Unterhaltung, jede Mahlzeit, jedes Lächeln und jede freundliche Geste haben meinen Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht. Ich habe große Bewunderung für jeden von euch. Eure Freundlichkeit, Großzügigkeit und die Liebe, die ihr als Familie teilt, haben mich auf so viele Weisen inspiriert. Ich werde die Erinnerungen, die wir zusammen geschaffen haben, immer in Ehren halten. Danke

Ich habe einen Monat mit Saira und ihrer Familie verbracht. Sie haben mich vom ersten Tag an willkommen geheißen und mir alles im Haus gezeigt. Sie brachten mich in die Bibliothek, an den Strand usw., und ich konnte sie zu verschiedenen Erledigungen begleiten und die Umgebung der Stadt sehen. Jeden Tag hatte ich Freizeit und konnte ihren wunderschönen Garten genießen. Ich habe mit Saira, Syed und ihren Kindern über viele Themen gesprochen. Ich habe viele wunderbare und lustige Momente mit ihnen verbracht! Sie sind freundlich, fürsorglich usw.; alles unglaubliche Menschen! Vielen Dank an alle für diese erstaunliche Erfahrung und dafür, dass ihr mich in euer Zuhause aufnehmt 🫶

Mein Aufenthalt begann gut mit 1–2 Stunden täglicher Hausarbeit im Austausch gegen Unterkunft und Verpflegung. Bis zur dritten Woche verlangte der Gastgeber plötzlich ermüdende, unerwartete Aufgaben ohne Vorwarnung. Diese deutliche Zunahme der Arbeitsbelastung führte zu starker körperlicher Erschöpfung. Als ich medizinischen Rat suchte, weigerte er sich, Kompromisse einzugehen. Stattdessen gab er mir ein 24-Stunden-Ultimatum, zu gehen oder noch mehr Arbeit zu übernehmen. Ich musste panisch meine Reisepläne ändern und dabei hohe unerwartete Kosten tragen. Überprüfen Sie vor Ihrem Aufenthalt hier alle Details sorgfältig!

I spent a month with Saira, Syed, and the kids :) I appreciated how everyone was considerate and helped me feel comfortable in a new environment. Saira kindly taught me many things, including my work duties and tourist spots, and even gave me English lessons every day! Even though I didn't spend much time with Syed, it was memorable how he cherished his time with the kids and still took us to many places! Also, I was so glad the children were very friendly and became close to me. We shared soooo many unforgettable moments🥺If I were to volunteer again, I would absolutely choose here♥️

I spent two weeks with Saira and the children and would have liked to stay longer. The children are totally open and sociable, the work is done quickly and cooking was always fun. There are lots of ways to spend your free time. It was a really great experience!

We stayed with the family for about four weeks and had a wonderful time ✨. From day one, we felt at home. The family was very welcoming and gave us a break from traveling. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The work was fair and fun (helping in daily family life). We also had enough free time for ourselves. The kids are curious and full of energy, and it was interesting to see their homeschooling life. Saira is a strong and inspiring woman. We're really thankful for this special time together! 🧡

Our stay with Saira and her children was simply wonderful. During our last week, we also had the pleasure of meeting Syed, who brought some extra variety into the family life. We had a well-structured daily routine, the tasks were fair and enjoyable, and we really had fun doing them. Spending time with the kids was also great – they were always helpful and full of energy. We couldn't have imagined a better volunteer experience for our time in Canada. The house is absolutely beautiful, and the surrounding nature has so much to offer – mountains, water, and peace ⛰️🌊. Saira and her Family are so kind and respectful. My stay in Victoria was full of new impressions and thats because Saira told me Spots to visit and helped me with trips to Victoria and other places. I loved and enjoyed the work with the kids and all around the house. The nature around the neighbourhood was so quiet and its perfect for short hikes to the beach or in the forest.I felt so comfortable in their home. Thank you so much to all of you.

What can I say, we came as volunteers and left as friends! We spend with Saira, and the kids 3 weeks together. The last week also with her husband Syed. Our time with the family was incredible, we really enjoyed every day. Especially for me was is interesting to see the family doing homeschooling. Our tasks were a daily small cleaning, cooking, playing and helping out with groceries/ in the garden/ fixing things/ a full clean ones a week (kitchen/living room). As well we shared with the kids the daily chores, what was just fun for all of us. Moreover i really enjoyed our conversations :). THX
