Ich hatte eine großartige Zeit bei Gaye und habe neue Dinge über Gartenarbeit, Kochen, Nähen gelernt, habe meine Englischkenntnisse verbessert und so weiter. Sie ist eine nette, aufgeschlossene Person mit gutem Humor. Ich hatte ein schönes Zimmer mit eigenem Bad und habe diesen Ort außerhalb von Katherine geliebt. Gaye hat mich zu einigen Veranstaltungen mitgenommen und es fühlte sich an, als wäre ich Teil dieser Stadt, während ich dort war. Und ich liebe ihre Kochkünste 😍

Gaye ist wirklich freundlich, fürsorglich und aufrichtig. Sie ist authentisch, was sie zu einer wirklich authentischen Person macht. Das Essen war unglaublich gesund und gut; ich fühlte mich in ihrem Haus sehr, sehr wohl. Und mein Englisch hat sich deutlich verbessert 😉 Vielen Dank für alles, Gaye, pass auf dich auf und bis bald! 🤍

Gaye is a lovely host. She is super active in her community and lets you be part of that. Also, she is very good cook. We looked forward to every meal. We didn't exactly make jam or dry fruit, but we did end up helping her with developing a better website for one of her committees. We also made our own cheese, which was fun. Overal a great experience!

Gaye is a wonderful host, easygoing, full of life and an extraordinary woman all around! Also an amazing cook. Got to meet lots of locals and see local events. The work/hours asked of you are also very flexible.

Gaye is a wonderful, powerful & lovely lady, who is always concerned about everyone's well-being & always prepared fantastic, healthy food. I had a lovely time with her, weeding her garden, helping her volunteer in the off-shop & in return she gave me an insight into life in Katherine as well as Pine Creek, where we spent the weekend on her enchanting property in the bush. She took me to the cinema & we celebrated International Women's Day in good company. She gave me a contact in MEL & managed that I can stay with her daughter in SYD♡! A great experience that nobody can take away from me♡!

Had a great time at Gaye's. She is a really impressive lady and good cook with no issues to adapt to me being a vegetarian. The work was mostly weeding so I was really glad I had another girl working there with me which let the time pass a lot faster. Hours weren't exactly fitting at all times and it was only one day off per week, but a part from that I had a great experience:)

Gaye is a lovely host. I spend two weeks at her place in Katherine together with a girl from Germany. We did a lot of work in the garden and we helped out in the op shop where Gaye works as a volunteer. Gaye took us to some events in Katherine which was really nice! Also the food she makes is great and there is a really cute dog Dolly :) Thank you for having me Gaye!

My time with Gaye was wonderful. I felt safe and comfortable as a solo traveller. Gaye's homestay helped me feel connected to nature and the beautiful environment in the Northern Territory. I would absolutely recommend fellow travellers to this stay. Be prepared for lots of sunshine, delicious homely food and good fun!!

Gaye is amazing! I got the chance to spend time at both the Katherine property and Pine Creek. Gaye was welcoming and kind! It was about 4 hours of different jobs in the morning then lounging by the pool or going for a walk for the rest of the day. Gaye made delicious food and kept everything satisfying and healthy. Such a wonderful experience and learned a lot about nature and had the chance to attend many local events!

Gaye is a wonderful host who immediately made me feel welcome. The tasks were varied and rewarding and she was more than happy to share her skills and stories and included me in all the town life around Katherine and Pine Creek. The food was delicious and I had plenty of time to explore or relax in the surrounding nature. Thanks for such a lovely experience in the Territory !
