Daryl is an excellent host who truly cares that you have everything you need and feel comfortable. It's a great place to learn and try new things. He has a lot of knowledge and skills and is happy to share them. We had a lot of fun in July caring for his wonderful animals, mowing the grass, watering garden beds, and even building a door. Perfect for anyone who enjoys peaceful places, nature, animals, and learning. Highly recommended!

Daryl is a very nice host with whom you can discuss about various topics around a fresh beer ! There is a lot to learn about the region and he gave us amazing recommendations, even through all Spain 🙂 Be aware that his place is isolated and hard to access (dirt pathway), so be ready to enjoy being isolated, amazing sunsets from the terrace and stargazing at night 😎 There's always a lot to do with the house, garden and animals, tasks being adapted to the weather (afternoon can get REALLY hot) and leaving time to rest or explore Estremadura for the rest of your day. 🐶🐐🐈 are waiting for you!

I had a really good time at Daryl's ! He always made sure we had everything we needed and was fun to hang out with while giving us lots of free time as well. The work was varied and interesting and very manageable. We made delicious food using Daryl's well furnished kitchen and he made us some tasty lunches as well. It's a bit secluded but Daryl's gave us rides when needed and it's good to enjoy nature and rural life.

Daryl es genial, fue muy amable todo el tiempo, muy atento a lo que necesitará, me enseñó hacer cosas que no sabía de una forma muy amable. I had a truly enriching experience spending time with Daryl, his farm, and his animals. The farm is located just 10 minutes by car or a 50-minute walk from the town of Magacela, As the first volunteer, I helped with maintenance and cleaning tasks, including building a fence for the goats. Daryl is a very kind and attentive person, always committed to ensuring that your stay is as comfortable as possible. The food was excellent, as you have access to the entire pantry to prepare any meals you need. You also have access to a private room, shared social areas, a shared bathroom, and good wifi
