Loved my stay here! Work was flexible and varied and i really enjoyed living with the other volunteers. The food was great and I definitely never went hungry and there was plenty to do outside of work hours! Merci beaucoup the community!

The house is surrounded by nature and animals, they are great and the community is also good company. He is available and flexible if you need to change your work schedule one day and he cooks well. The bathroom is compostable, there is no running water from the shower but you will have to use a bucket of water. I think it is good to know this beforehand so you can choose if this is for you. The goats and sheep are adorable and friendly!

Du hast immer gelächelt, auch wenn das Leben am Robin dir manchmal etwas rau vorkam. Du weißt ja, Trockentoiletten sind relativ bekannt in ökologischen Gegenden, aber ich kann natürlich verstehen, dass du eher den modernen McDonald's-Komfort bevorzugst.
Ich werde dich in guter Erinnerung behalten und dir das Beste wünschen.

My volunteering experience was bittersweet. The place is beautiful and peaceful. However, my relationship with the host was disappointing. He jokes all the time, which I loved at first but sometimes you need an explanation instead.Despite my best efforts to be polite and kind, I felt constantly judged and criticized through sarcastic jokes. The host had a passive-aggressive attitude and treated me differently than the others. His reactions to mistakes lacked patience and empathy, making the experience uncomfortable. While others may have different experiences, I felt compelled to express mine.

ICh habe dir keinen negativen Kommentar hinterlassen, um dich nicht zu benachteiligen. Dein Verhalten war das eines Jugendlichen, der anderen viel tun lässt, ziemlich wenig energisch bei der Arbeit und die einfachste Aufgabe suchend, stets auf der Suche nach einem Vorwand, um eine Pause zu machen, viel schwatzend und damit die anderen während der Arbeit ablenkend. Du bist ziemlich oft direkt nach dem Essen gegangen (Telefon, Zigaretten), während die anderen das Geschirr gespült oder aufgeräumt haben. Du warst nicht zum vereinbarten Termin am Ort deiner Ankunft, und ich musste dich in der Stadt suchen, was mir sonst nie passiert. Für die Abreise (10 Tage vor dem festgesetzten Datum und ohne mich wirklich zu fragen), ließest du mich sehr früh am Morgen zu einem weiter entfernten Bahnhof fahren, weil es keinen Bus gab, hast du erklärt. Wir sind zur gleichen Zeit angekommen wie der Bus angeblich nicht existierte... Ich habe es vorgezogen, das alles während deines Aufenthalts wie einen Witz zu nehmen, um die Atmosphäre des Teams nicht zu schädigen, das gut war, und um nicht unhöflich zu sein. Du bist sympathisch, aber ich schätze Menschen, die Sinn für Grenzen haben, was bei dir nicht der Fall war, im Gegensatz zu den meisten Leuten, die ich empfange. Zu den Fehlern, von denen du sprichst: Wenn immer dieselbe Person sie macht, wird es mit der Zeit schwieriger, Empathie zu zeigen. Ich wünsche dir, dass du wächst und erkennst, dass andere jenseits deiner eigenen Befriedigung und Bedürfnisse existieren, um der Freiwillige zu werden, den jeder gerne zu Hause hätte.

Huge place in the middle of the mountains and forest and different animals. Work is okay and nothing extremely complicated. the community is cooking good foods!

La granja de la comunidad es sin duda un lugar muy bonito, en medio de la naturaleza, perfecto para desconectarte de todo por unos días. Trabajamos cortando y apilado madera, armando pilas de troncos y todo tipo de trabajo pesado relacionando a eso, aprendí mucho al respecto. El lugar es algo retirado y no hay wifi, es importante tenerlo en cuanta antes de venir o aplicar. Si no tienes problema con eso serán tranquilos y relajados días.

Our experience with the community was good, the place is in the middle of a wonderful forest, is like 20 min from the town and you can get there only by car, when the community goes there. We had a flat for the meals and days off and the dormitory were over it, it has a dry toilet and the shower is with a bucket, he cook for the Lunch and dinnner and give you things for breakfast, there is no WiFi and I recommend to bring everything you need before you arrive. The activities were also cleaning. Thank you for everything.

The month I had the privilege of spending the community was wonderful. It felt like a home away from home and was very difficult to leave. The work was varied and passed enjoyably with the lovely team of people here I had the pleasure of working and living alongside. The variety of animals here was so cool to be able to interact with every day! I had the opportunity to further my french here and the diversity of languages spoken was a great opportunity for everyone to learn. Thank you the community, Julian, Leo and all the volunteers who made this an unforgettable experience. I hope to be back again soon!

We had so much fun staying at the community's place! It was an amazing opportunity to slow down a bit, reconnect with nature and animals and do some hands on work. The work wasn't difficult at all and the community was really reasonable with the hours. It's very basic living which was a nice break after travelling, and it was also nice getting to meet so many other travellers!
