Die Erfahrung mit Alwin und seiner Familie war unglaublich! Es war unser erster Worldpackers-Aufenthalt, und alle waren sehr hilfsbereit und engagiert. Sie haben sich immer bemüht, uns in die Familie und in die Stadt zu integrieren.
Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, sowohl das von Alwins Frau als auch das von Oma, mit wirklich typischen deutschen Gerichten. Die Stadt ist großartig und liegt in der Nähe verschiedener interessanter Orte. Der Bereich, in dem wir gewohnt haben, ist ausgezeichnet und hatte alles, was wir brauchten, wie Arbeitskleidung, Kaffee, Küchenutensilien und Badezimmerartikel.
Wir sind Alwins und seiner Familie unendlich dankbar für all die Unterstützung!

Charlie und ich hatten die BESTE Zeit mit Alwin, Stephanie und ihrer Familie. Sie empfingen uns in ihrem wunderschönen Zuhause und gaben uns eine erstaunliche, authentische deutsche Erfahrung. Die Aufgaben waren einfach, wobei Alwin unterwegs großartige Tipps gab, und wir hatten einen sehr flexiblen Zeitplan, um auch viel zu erkunden. Die Kinder waren auch so süß; wir werden sie vermissen! Stephanie hat auch wunderbares Essen für uns zubereitet. Wir konnten mit dem fachkundigen Rat von Alwin und Stephanie mehrere Städte/Orte besuchen, das war auch fantastisch! Oma war auch ein Engel, der uns so gut verpflegt hat. Wir sind dankbar für diese Erfahrung!

Great experience in Tüdden with Alwin Stephanie and the whole the home work was easy and fun, mostly in the garden harvesting food, hanging with the kids or Oma and experiencing the culture in Germany The accommodation was amazing the apartment is great with everything you need, you have access to their kitchen food and their whole backyard with a pool and plenty of space to relax. Anyone that loves immersing themselves into new cultures is interested in learning german or just wants to have an amazing volunteer experience, this is the spot Thank you Alwin and Stephanie you are the best!

A wonderful experience. The flexible schedule allowed me to help out while exploring the region. Spending time with the animals was a joy and made my stay unforgettable. Oma's food was a highlight—delicious and prepared with care. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything I needed. I am very grateful for this experience and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming place.

Julia und Ighor waren zwei Wochen lang bei uns. Sie haben alle Arbeiten erledigt, um die wir gebeten haben, und sie waren wirklich proaktiv. Besonders mit unserem jüngsten Sohn Jonah haben sie viel gespielt, und er hat die Zeit mit ihnen wirklich genossen. Sie haben auch gerne Zeit mit unseren Tieren verbracht. Wir können Julia und Ighor als Freiwillige absolut empfehlen.

We had an amazing experience with Alwin and his family, everybody was so friendly and kindness with us that we felt part of the home. Alwin and Stephanie always were trying to help, indicating places and cities to visit. We learned a lot about the German customs, their typical foods and we had the chance to taste Oma's food, which is wonderful. Gratitude is what we have in our hearts.

This experience was so lovely. Everyone was so welcoming and really made me feel like part of the home. I was always involved whether it be hanging out by the pool, or going round to Oma's for lunch! The jobs were easy and never took more than a few hours. The rest of the time I could spend just chilling out by myself or playing with Jonah. Alwin and Stephanie were really easy going, if there was somewhere I wanted to visit I could just ask and they happily accommodated, as well as offering suggestions of places to go. I have nothing but positive things to say about the whole experience!

I stayed with Alwin and Stephanie and the kids for over 2 weeks. The tasks were flexible and diverse and the accomodation is really good, with a small place just for yourself. I had such a really good experience and I had the chance to practice my German (especially with Jonah) and get to know the culture and lifestyle. They also welcome you into their family, making it feel like home and they make sure you have a good experience, always recommending places and things to visit.

I had such an amazing time with them! The tasks and the work schedule were really flexible. In some days, I was helping out inside, cooking or playing with the little kid. In other days, I was gardening or helping with small construction work; nothing really hard or demanding. The entire family is so kind and welcoming. I was invited to be part of the home celebrations and had the opportunity to know more about their culture and lifestyle. The facilities are above standard, and the food was amazing (especially Oma's 🤤). Thank you so much for having me!

The experience was truly incredible. I have nothing but words of gratitude for everything. They are a super open family, they integrate you into their activities and lifestyle as if you were one of them. I personally experienced and felt the tasks to be carried out as part of my daily life and they are super flexible about it, it is really relaxing to be in contact with nature in such a quiet place.
