Die Lage ist großartig, nur wenige Schritte vom Strand entfernt und etwa zehn Minuten zu Fuß vom Stadtzentrum, mit vielen Restaurants und kleinen Märkten in der Nähe. Das bereitgestellte Essen war gut, Keti stellte die Zutaten für Frühstück und Abendessen bereit und kochte uns Mahlzeiten zum Mittagessen (manchmal gingen wir auch in ein traditionelles Restaurant). Die Aufgaben waren einfach, und die Stunden wurden eingehalten, obwohl sie sich über sieben Tage verteilt erstreckten. Orfea, Ketis Sohn, hat bei der Übersetzung alles hervorragend gemacht, und gegen Ende meiner Erfahrung konnte ich Keti verstehen, auch wenn ich einzelne Wörter nicht verstand.

My of my favorite experiences! Keti is super nice and welcoming, I could only stay for 2 weeks which was no problem at all. The tasks are very easy and wouldnt take more than 3hrs a day, and many days we didnt work at all, depending on the number of guests. The place is a bit far from the center but its almost right on the beach! I would recommend this place to everyone whos looking for a very chill and fun time. Would definitely love to come again!

It was a very nice stay! Very quiet and easy work! The beach is close and the accommodations are really nice. I love the town and it's so easy to meet other volunteers!

The volunteer room is a mini-apartment in the hotel that Keti owns, is very private and comfortable + has a private hot shower, big bed, closet, and kitchenette with sink. It's also directly in front of beautiful Potam beach! Keti is a lovely, flexible and helpful host + great cook who is happy to show you around town in his car. He speaks 0 English, so be prepared to use Google translate & some basic Albanian or Greek phrases to make basic communication + teaching English easier. The work hours were very reasonable too. I highly recommend this place for nature + beach lovers. Thanks Keti! :)

Himare is a beautiful little town with nice beaches. The work was easy and usually only an hour to 3 hours everyday. The host doesn't speak any English which can be challenging at times. You need to be patient. We usually went out to eat for lunch and then would prepare our own meals for breakfast and dinner using the hosts kitchen. He would buy whatever we needed.

I mostly enjoyed my time at the hotel, the apartment is great and cosy, the work is minimal and easy cleaning, the host is kind and the location is great. However, I did not know I would be the only volunteer working there which might not be a problem for some people but it should be made clear before you arrive.

I loved my experience at Keti's house. The Mission was very easy and took no time (max 2h per day with 3 days off). His cooking was delicious, and he was extremely kind and attentive ! Keti was even extremely kind to pick me up from the airport and show me around Albania. However, he doesn't speak English at all. He has great difficulty, remembering lessons, so you have to be a very patient volunteer with good self control to come to his place. Finally, Himara is a tiny village, where there is not much to do and see so unless you are looking for peace and solitude, you could get bored !

The host was respectful, provided good meals, the work was easy and he took me to the all the castles around and the monastery that it is hard to access so I wouldn't be able to see all the things if he wasn't for him. Also, Himare is really beautiful. I reccoment it.
