The most amazing place in the world, on day 1 already feels like home. Rodrigo, Nuno and everyone working in the hostel is super understanding and respectful, give you enough time to rest and have fun. This place is magnet for great people - volunteers and guests, everyone is welcoming and full of love. Its a great place for first time volunteering, so don't doubt- go ahead, you won't regret it. Can't wait to be back one day. Its really home away from home.

Natalia ist wirklich witzig und eine großartige Person, sie war super proaktiv und hat alles sehr schnell gelernt.
Sie kommt mit allen zurecht und hat ihren Aufenthalt sogar verlängert.
Insgesamt war die Erfahrung wirklich gut und sie wird eine große Bereicherung für jedes Team sein.

LSH is a perfect place to volunteer at! Everyone was super welcoming and you quickly feel as a part of a big fam cause the hostel has more of a shared house feel. The shifts were chill and you get to have 3 days off per week according to your preference. I loved my stay!🏄🏻♀️🫶🏼

Terezas Aufenthalt war großartig, sie ist super freundlich, kontaktfreudig; sie hat alles gut gemacht und insgesamt war es eine Freude, sie bei uns zu haben.

The hostel was my first Worldpackers experience and I wouldn't change it for the world! It has truly been a roller coaster. Coming into this experience I didn't know what to expect but I have learned so much from the other volunteers and spent time building relationships with people that will last a lifetime! If you like a social environment both with guests and other volunteers this is the place to be.

My experience with the hostel was wonderful! I worked at the hostel, so I stayed at the beach while a lot of the volunteers worked in the hostel. The work was all very simple and everything expected of us was extremely reasonable. The atmosphere was great, the other volunteers were fun to be around, and the managers were kind, respectful, helpful, and always stayed true to their words. I met many people who were returners to the hostel or extended their stay long terms and I completely understand why, it's the kind of place that's hard to leave. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Staying at the the hostel was a great time. The managers and volunteers were very welcoming and make sure you get the full Portuguese experience. The workload is relaxed and they make sure you have plenty of time to surf or explore other cities/places in Portugal. Definitely recommend volunteering here to anyone interested in Portugal or surfing. Hope to be back soon 🤙🏼

The hostel was my first experience with Worldpackers and I couldn't have asked for better! I immediately felt welcomed into the LSH family as soon as I arrived. The managers really care about you and give great recommendations on things to do all over Portugal. The hours/days off were flexible and there was always something fun to do like going surfing, hanging at the pool, and nights out in the hostel with other volunteers and guests! Stay longer than a month if you can! The time will fly by. I'm so grateful for all of my new friends from around the world and I hope to be back!!🩷

Claire ist eine freudige, super freundliche und aufgeschlossene Person, wirklich coole Vibes.
Ihr Aufenthalt bei uns war wirklich gut; sie war eine wirklich gute Barkeeperin.

I had an absolutely amazing time at the hostel. The managers were so sweet and welcoming. The team of other volunteers that I worked with were so great, I really made friends for life. I learnt how to surf (kind of) and had a blast in every way shape and form! The workdays were what you expected and they were really flexible with what days you want to take off, and which shifts suits you the best. This experience was everything I expected and more and I already miss it and wish that I had more time there :'(

Johanna ist unglaublich, sehr freundlich, sozial und witzig.
Es war großartig, sie bei uns zu haben; sie hat alles schnell und gut gelernt, und ich habe mir während ihrer Schicht überhaupt keine Sorgen gemacht.
Das Einzige, was wir sagen können, ist, dass wir uns gewünscht hätten, dass sie länger bleibt, denn ihr Aufenthalt war wirklich gut.

I loved everything about my experience with LSH, this place became home. So grateful that I could always rely of the support and openness of the managers, and to have worked with the most incredible family of staff and volunteers. The hostel has a great vibe, is in ideal location, and requesting preferred days off was respected and encouraged, making it very possible to explore the rest of Portugal. I will miss every bit of it 🫶.

Lilli ist super freundlich und reif, sie hat wirklich gut gearbeitet und war super hilfsbereit.
Gute Dinge kommen in kleinen Paketen, Lilli mag von kleiner Statur sein, aber sie ist eine große Persönlichkeit und ihr Aufenthalt war großartig; wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass sie länger geblieben wäre.

It was my first Worldpackers experience and it was amazing, the lifestyle it's great, I will miss taking surf lessons and being so close to the beach, the tasks were easy and i enjoyed doing the bbqs, everybody was so friendly and I will miss my LSH family, I 100% recommend this place and don't think about applying twice you will love it!

Staying at the the hostel was for sure one of the best experiences I had! You get to know a lot of people from all around the world and create new friendships. There is also a lot of free time, where you can explore portugal. The managers Rodrigo, Nuno and Manel are amazing people, they always take care of the volunteers and the guests and help you everywhere they can. Thank you for everything! Also the work was not too hard, though it can get a bit stressfull when the house is full, but people were always there to help you out, just like a big family🧡 Already missing all of you :(

Viele Worldpackers haben sich kürzlich auf diese Stelle beworben. Der Host wird wahrscheinlich nicht auf alle Bewerbungen antworten können, daher empfehlen wir dir, dich auch bei anderen Hosts in unserer Gemeinschaft zu bewerben und nicht nur bei diesem :)
