I couldn't have asked for anything better for my first worldpackers experience! The Hostel is new and 15 min away from the city center, with supermarkets, coffee shops and restaurants around but in an incredibly quiet neighborhood for being Tirana. Your responsabilities are clear since the beginning and you have different shifts through the week. Both Elias and Claas are always kind and willing to help and with the rest of the volunteers and the guest, and incredible atmosphere is created in the hostel. Enjoy the terrace at the top and give Niki, the dog from the neighbor, lots of cuddles!

Pretty dope place. I ended up at LOFT which is the older one but I believe in “I'm exactly where I should be at the time I should be” so It was okay…just keep in mind you could be at either. Also, don't take offense to Claas he's hard on the outside pretty snarky remarks but on the inside he cares lol Volunteers while I was there were amazing everyone pretty much helped each other and respected each others space. This was a great experience

"Hard on the outside" ist eine Eigenschaft, die du dir irgendwie aneignen musst, wenn du mit ca. 150 Freiwilligen pro Jahr arbeitest. Das bedeutet nicht, dass man zu allen hart sein muss, aber je weniger ich bin, desto eher vergessen wir unsere Vereinbarung (zumindest gilt das für einige Freiwillige).

Manche Freiwillige nutzen die Situation aus, wenn sie glauben, nett zu sein, bedeutet sich nicht zu kümmern.

Aber mir liegt das Hostel, die Gäste, die wir beherbergen, genauso am Herzen wie die Freiwilligen.

Im Allgemeinen landen die Freiwilligen in dem Hostel, für das sie sich beworben haben... daher danke ich dir wirklich für die Flexibilität. Es hat wirklich geholfen... es ist ein Problem, wenn Freiwillige nicht erscheinen und noch schlimmer, wenn sie uns nicht benachrichtigen. In solchen Fällen, und sie sind selten, weil die meisten Freiwilligen, die wir im Laufe der Jahre hatten, es ernst nehmen, kann es vorkommen, dass wir fragen müssen, ob es okay ist, im anderen Hostel untergebracht zu werden...

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue buena! me permitió conocer personas de todo el mundo, recorrer el hostel en mis días libres y generar amistades con mis compañeros voluntarios, lo negativo es que el lugar que ofrecen para dormir es pequeño, para 6 personas con solo algunos ventiladores que no son suficientes para el calor que hace en la ciudad, y sobre la comidas solo dan 1,8€ por día por persona para almuerzo. Destacó la amabilidad y buena energía de Elias el manager que hace de la experiencia algo más amistoso y familiar ☺️
