Dies war meine erste Workpackers-Erfahrung, daher habe ich jetzt eine bessere Vorstellung davon, welche Art von Dingen man beachten sollte.
Mein Gastgeber und ich hatten unterschiedliche Erwartungen hinsichtlich des Umfangs und der Art der erforderlichen Arbeiten. Ich hoffte, mehr Zeit damit zu verbringen, mich um die Tiere zu kümmern. Die anfallende Arbeit war eher Reinigung - das Haus und der Tierbereich.

Sie haben sich für eine Gärtnerstelle beworben, die sich auf Außenpflege konzentriert, nicht auf die Tierpflege. Nach Ihrer Ankunft informierten Sie mich, dass Sie diese Aufgaben nicht ausführen konnten. Mir ist auch aufgefallen, dass Ihnen kein natürliches Vertrauen zu den Tieren entgegengebracht wurde. Aus diesen Gründen habe ich beschlossen, die Erfahrung vorzeitig zu beenden. Ich wünsche Ihnen alles Gute bei der Suche nach einer passenden Platzierung.

Ich hatte eine fantastische Zeit mit Allyson und ihren Hunden! Sie weiß einfach, wie man dich wohl fühlen lässt, und ist eine sehr freundliche Person. Das Haus befindet sich in einer sehr schönen Gegend, und Allyson kann dir viele Ratschläge und Informationen zur Region geben! Ich werde es hier sicherlich vermissen und kann es kaum erwarten, wiederzukommen !!

La experiencia ha sido muy buena. El lugar donde se encuentra la casa es maravilloso, en plena naturaleza y cerca de ciudades y pueblos bellísimos. Convivir con los animales es toda una experiencia que también he disfrutado. El trabajo de limpieza y jardinería era muy gratificante y siempre ajustado a las condiciones previstas. Allyson es una mujer muy activa y generosa que se preocupa del bienestar de los animales acogidos y por supuesto de los voluntarios. Me siento muy feliz y agradecido de haber vivido esta experiencia.

Allyson es una mujer encantadora y trabajadora que ama a sus perros y gatos, está dispuesta a escucharte y a enseñarte en ocaciones tine muchas cosas en su cabeza y en casa pero logra solucionar todo de la mejor manera.

The experience with Allyson was incredible!! The house is wonderful, with a great structure. The bedroom is perfect with a very comfortable bed, the kitchen is fully equipped and she makes all the equipment available for use. Some days, due to the number of animals in the house, you end up feeling a bit overwhelmed hahaha, but nothing that a job outside the house taking care of the chickens or cutting wood can't help to distract you (using headphones while working also helps hahah). My relationship with Allyson was very good, we had good conversations and exchanged personal experiences.

My experience with Allyson was beyond expectations. This is perfect for dog lovers, as you'll share spaces with over 20 dogs. She also has chickens, a rabbit, and cats, each in their own area. I helped with cleaning and creating Instagram accounts, but you can also assist with outdoor tasks as building a fence for her field around the house. Work starts at 8the guest house30 AM but is flexible, with respected hours. You can hike around the house (1-hour walk from the train station), and Allyson can give you a ride too. This train station is about 30 minutes from Bologna.

This experience volunteering with 26 dogs was life changing, and altered my perspective of life in so many ways. Allyson was the most amazing, genuine, caring, and charismatic woman I have ever met!! She is a beauitful soul, and she taught me so much. From teaching me Italian, showing me Italian movies, making me amazing Italian meals and just highlighting cultural differences— I was given ample opportunity to immerse myself in the culture. She introduced me to locals as well!! She cares so deeply for her animals— and I just loved them SO much, and taking care of them. I hope to be back ❤️

El lugar es maravilloso, Allyson muy atenta desde el principio, siempre pendiente de que no me falte nada. La experiencia me ha servido para conocerme un poco más, y aunque mi estancia ha sido corta, siento que he crecido personalmente. Agradecida con Allyson y con los animalitos que allí viven :)

It was a wonderful experience being with Allyson! Your dogs are also incredible and very special, I loved being with them. The place is beautiful, all work carried out was as agreed and schedules were flexible. Allyson loves to share, we often cooked food together, went for walks and got to know the region. I learned a lot during those days, we became great friends, it was an experience that I will always remember with great affection. I recommend it to everyone :)

The days I spent at the guest house Dogs on Bologna's hills were wonderful, Allyson has great affection and care for me and the dogs, cats, chickens and rabbits, she is always ready to help, she cares if we are well, she always asks if something is missing or if I wanted something, she is wonderful in the kitchen and made wonderful dishes, she made me feel at ease and comfortable to work and carry out the tasks, she accepted suggestions and I was able to feel at home, in addition, the Allyson's house has a wonderful energy.
