Ich wurde während unseres Aufenthalts bei Francisca krank, bedingt durch Nebenwirkungen der Malaria-Präventionspillen. Ich musste früher gehen als geplant. Dennoch haben sie sich so gut um mich gekümmert und waren die ganze Zeit über unglaublich freundlich und gastfreundlich. Ich habe ihre Wärme und Gastfreundschaft wirklich geschätzt, und obwohl ich mich nicht gut fühlte, hatte ich trotzdem eine wunderbare Erfahrung, bei ihnen zu bleiben.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Francisca war leider nicht so lang wie geplant, wegen einiger Krankenhausbesuche - nichts mit dem Aufenthalt zu tun - aber wir hätten gerne länger geblieben. Was wir gesehen haben, war eine super herzliche und liebevolle Mutter, die immer Zeit hat für gute Gespräche und eine warme Mahlzeit. Ich würde empfehlen, hier zu bleiben, wenn du Tansania erleben willst

I loved staying at Francesca's beautiful home and spending time with her family. She was welcoming, they made delicious meals and I had space to work and private accommodation. I was sad my visit was during the school holidays so I didn't get to volunteer at a school as I intended All the same I got to tour local places and immerse myself in local culture. I made a friend in her and hope to visit again

I could not recommend this experience enough. All aspects from mama Francisca's hospitality, the welcoming and friendly locals, the delicious food and the volunteering experience at the local public school was amazing!!! At the beginning, I was quite nervous about stepping in to the unknown. But soon after arriving I felt safe and comfortable with Francisca who now feels like my Tanzanian mom. I can confidently say this experience made me grow as a global citizen through having exposure to the African life and its history. There's so much more I could say so feel free to reach out :)

Francisca is a amazing woman and her family is wonderful. I had a really good time at the orphanage and school, the only thing was that it can be quite lonely at times bc you don't really meet a lot of people your age. The home is very nice with a private room and fan so it was very comfortable. You learn a lot about the local culture and traditions through franis family and friends so I am very grateful for her. Overall it was a lovely stay
