Ich habe hier zwei unglaublich tolle Monate verbracht. Ich wurde herzlich empfangen und fühlte mich wirklich wie zu Hause.
Ich genoss die schöne Natur, lernte die wunderbare Familie und Freunde kennen und schuf unvergessliche Erinnerungen. Diese Erfahrung hat mir geholfen, als Mensch sehr zu wachsen, und ich werde für diese besondere Zeit immer dankbar sein.

My first Worldpackers experience couldn't have been better! the project is such a special place. The farmhouse is over 500 years old, the surroundings are beautiful, and there's something about the atmosphere that makes you feel at home very quickly. Although my stay was short, it was really good… Matty was a wonderful host… friendly, welcoming, patient, and always up for a chat and a laugh (f.u)… Thank you for making my first volunteering experience such a positive one. I will always look back on my time at the project with a big smile… 😬🥰

Meine Woche im Projekt war wunderbar! Es ist ein Ort voller Frieden und guter Energie. Ich konnte mit Gemüse und Obst aus dem Garten und anderen lokalen Produkten kochen. Ich half auch, den Garten für den Winter zu pflegen. Die Arbeit war einfach, und Matty ist flexibel mit den Arbeitszeiten. Matty ist eine erstaunliche Person, sehr freundlich, lustig und eine großartige Begleitung. Er war auch sehr geduldig mit meinem Englisch. Er hatte immer interessante Themen und Geschichten zu erzählen. Ich habe viel gelernt und hatte viel Spaß mit ihm. Ich empfehle diese Erfahrung definitiv und ich würde mich freuen, eines Tages zurückzukommen! ☺️♥️

Meine Erfahrung beim Projekt war sehr positiv. Der Ort ist schön, friedlich und von Natur umgeben. Die Arbeit ist körperlich, aber man gewöhnt sich daran. Die Pflege der Hühner und des Gemüsegartens war wirklich angenehm. Die nächste Stadt ist etwa 25 Gehminuten entfernt. Matty ist freundlich und du fühlst dich wie zu Hause. Insgesamt ist es eine empfohlene Freiwilligenmöglichkeit für diejenigen, die eine ruhige Umgebung und Kontakt mit der Natur suchen.

Ich hatte eine tolle Zeit auf dem Hof! Matty ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber und ein großartiger Gesprächspartner. Das Haus und der Garten sind wunderschön und haben eine super interessante Geschichte. Ich habe es wirklich genossen, Zeit mit Haggis und den Hühnern zu verbringen und mit Gemüse aus dem Garten zu kochen. Die nächstgelegene Stadt Talgarth ist nur 25 Gehminuten entfernt und hat eine tolle Bäckerei. Ich empfehle den Hof auf jeden Fall weiter!

I have absolutely loved all of Wales and Talgarth is such a cute gem. Matty is a wonderful host and made me feel safe and at home from the first day. Both his house and his farm are stunning: surrounded by hills and woods, I felt at peace, free. He's also been very patient with all my questions ahah: even though I was born and raised in the countryside I feel like I've learned more from my time here than at home. You'll get used to the physical work pretty soon and after a while I've grown so fond of the animals and plants that it didn't even feel like work anymore!

My volunteering with Matty was great. The place is really calm and relaxing, perfect to unwind. Matty is super friendly and welcoming, you quickly feel at home. I went on some amazing walks thanks to his tips, and the scenery was beautiful. Honestly, I had a great time. Thanks again, Matty!

I am so grateful for my experience at the project and couldn't recommend it enough. It is a very special place, a beautiful house surrounded by incredible nature and lots of history. Matty is just a great host and person, very interesting to talk to with a great sense of humour. I really enjoyed working in the garden, I learnt a lot about sustainability and growing food etc. Plus there are chickens and sheep to play with which is a huge plus! If you want to slow down and get in touch with nature this would be perfect for you. Thank you Matty ☺️

I deeply treasure the experience I had at Collage Farm! Matty is amazing respectful, kind, honest, and easygoing. He is always willing to help you learn 🫀 During my stay, I learned a lot about sustainability. It helped me become more aware of the food I eat and how to take care of my body and mind. The site is a bit far from the nearest town (Brecon), but if you're looking for a quiet place to connect with nature, this is the right spot! Thank you, Matty, for trusting me and turning this experience into a beautiful memory.
