Ich hätte nicht erwartet, dass der Ort sehr schön wäre. Ich habe auch zwei Mitfreiwillige getroffen, die meine angenehme Reise fast beendet haben. Die Arbeitsbelastung ist auch nicht schwer, und die Gegend ist so neu, und ich muss jeden Morgen die Berge sehen. Dieser Ort heilt mich wirklich. Ich hoffe, ich kann wieder an diesen Ort zurückkehren.

Meine drei Wochen im Glamping waren großartig! Da es Herbst war, bestand unsere Arbeit hauptsächlich darin, Laub aufzuheben. Am Ende gab es schon viel Schnee, also haben wir den Schnee die ganze Zeit geschaufelt. Die Arbeit war nur 3 Stunden pro Tag, also war es sehr entspannt. Es gibt auch eine schöne Umgebung mit den Arbeitern, den anderen Freiwilligen und dem Heim, also war es ein toller Ort, um dort zu sein. Die Wohnung hat alle notwendigen Einrichtungen: Küche, Kühlschrank, Dusche usw., und sie ist von innen warm. Ich hatte ein ganzes Zimmer für mich, weil es Nebensaison war. Es gibt in der Nähe einen kleinen Laden, aber man sagte uns, dort kein Fertigessen zu kaufen.

Es war ein sehr glücklicher Arbeitsplan. Die Unterkunft war ein Schlafsaal mit einer winzigen Küche, aber sehr gemütlich. Sie boten eine kostenlose Seilbahnfahrt bis zur Spitze des Berges an. Der Ort war perfekt, wenn Sie Outdoor-Aktivitäten lieben!

For my first Worldpackers experience, I don't think it could have gone any better. I really appreciate the home's respect for hard work. I felt recognized and cared for during my stay here and am very glad I came. I'm leaving Shymbulak with a lot of good memories. I recommend this experience to anybody who is looking to work hard, meet locals, and enjoy life in the mountains.

I stayed for a month in the winter and it was incredible, a life-changing experience. The environment is incredible, the resort staff are very nice and friendly people, the work is simple and always pleasant, everything is very beautiful. I lived for a month in a place that looks like Disney, sometimes I couldn't believe I was having this opportunity. I learned to ride a ski, made new friends in a totally different culture and that's all a volunteer wants. Thank you Tal for sharing your home and your life with me, I will always be grateful for this opportunity, be happy and enjoy your life.

The opportunity at Medeu Shymbalak is wonderful! Being connected to nature was the best part! Working with the staff at the camp and sharing time together over tea and bread will always be memorable because everyone is so welcoming and kind. Volunteers get to be outdoors and share in special events at the camp. There is a bit of a distance to the city center, so be mindful of the 30-40 minute bus ride into and out of the city, and the public transportation schedule. I think opportunity is best suited for travellers in pairs, that way when you will always have a built-in team to rely on!
