Es war so eine erstaunliche Erfahrung, dass ich dort zwei Wochen länger geblieben bin... erstaunliche Leute, die jedes Detail darauf verwendet haben, dass du dich zu Hause fühlst! Ich kann diesen Ort definitiv empfehlen! Ich hatte dort eine fantastische Zeit! Stella, Robert und Namo waren großartig.

Schöne Jugendherberge! Das Personal ist super freundlich. Ich empfehle hier in der Hochsaison zu bleiben; ich musste aufgrund persönlicher Dinge ziemlich früh gehen, aber die Jugendherberge ist schön und in der Nähe des Bahnhofs, und 1 Minute vom Strand entfernt; es gab nicht viel zu tun.

Das Hostel hat mich zum Kichern gebracht und ich habe die ganze Zeit dort meine Füße wippen lassen. Das Personal dort ist extrem freundlich und voller Liebe. Mir fehlen sie sehr - besonders Kish & Jin♥️. Die Arbeit an sich war super entspannt, wir haben nur die Wäsche gemacht und geholfen, das Familienessen jeden Abend vorzubereiten. Sie waren flexibel mit meinen Arbeitszeiten und gaben mir gute Empfehlungen in Trinco und im Rest Sri Lankas. Alle, die ich dort getroffen habe, waren so freundlich, ich bin unendlich dankbar, Teil einer so wunderbaren Hostel-Familie gewesen zu sein. Bis zum nächsten Mal!!

I volunteered at this hostel for 3 weeks and had a great time! The vibe was amazing, the people were super friendly, and the work was easy and enjoyable. It was a really fun and positive experience. I totally recommend it!

Everything was very good for me, I seemed to have a holiday there, thank you Jay for everything, he is very warm and very helpful, definitely a place I recommend to everyone, a place that gives you a lot of facilities and flexibility, if you want to have a holiday and socialize, you should definitely choose it, I hope to see you again

We had such a nice an fun stay at the hostel! We even extended our stay for one week. The Host and the crew is amazing and we enjoyed everything here and would recommend it to every traveller that wants to be part of a social crazy community!

Overall it was a really fun experience!! The staff were very lovely and definitely love to party too. We got free activities as long as we got minimum 4 other guests to sign up. These were all really fun and definitely had a lot of energy (helped by the booze which you get 50% off as a volunteer). However some things to note: the party scene free flows some nights, but feels a little forced others. The staff dorm is VERY simplistic, "bathroom" really smells and you can feel the metal underneath the mattress. Your job is mainly just to do LOTS of laundry, set up dinner and promote activities 😊

Overall, it was a great experience as we had lots of fun, got to experience lots of activities and really saw all that Trincomalee has to offer. The staff were friendly, good fun to be around and the hostel itself had a lovely sociable vibe. However, the staff dorm was very basic which often ran out of running water and power as well as being shared with 10 people. The jobs we were asked to do were manageable and didn't take up much of the day so could then have the rest of the day to ourselves. The staff were clear with giving us instructions so we always felt like we knew what to do.
