I really enjoyed my stay at the farm a lot. I made very beautiful and special memories there. I liked that the small island where the farm is located is close to the sea so I could go on walks there and watch the stunning sunset and enjoy the impressive scandinavian scenery. Øystein is a wonderful host who always made sure we had everything we needed and he is interested in other cultures and in meeting new people. He made me feel welcome and I had a lot of fun when taking care of or working with the animals. Øystein makes sure that the tasks are interesting and is good at encouraging people:)

My experience at the farm made my dreams about living and working at a farm with animals come true. It was truly one of the best (if not the best) experiences in my life. Øystein is an amazing person and host. He makes sure to create unforgettable memories for his volunteers and he always made me feel included. The tasks were very enjoyable and managable for everyone. His animals are absolutely lovely (even Karl sometimes), you can tell they have an amazing life. The accomodation is beautiful and well-equipped. I'm forever grateful for this unforgettable experience and wish him all the best :)

Øystein was the best host I could've had during my time in Norway and made me feel at home as a first-time solo traveller. You can tell that he is very interested in learning about his volunteers' cultures. The accommodations were nice and the work hours were fair, giving me plenty of time to explore the surrounding area. I would highly recommend this experience for first-time travelers :) I wish him and his future volunteers good luck from the US!

I had an amazing experience in Omsdal with Øystein and the beautiful animals in the area. Øystein was a kind and incredible host who ensured we felt at home. He shared valuable knowledge about living on a farm and coexisting with nature while inmersing into the Norwegian culture and December traditions. The tasks were enjoyable and felt more like fun activities. Despite the challenging weather, the stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and everything worked out wonderfully. I am truly grateful for the unforgettable time and warm hospitality.

My stay with Øystein was the best experience I could have had in Norway. Working with horses, on the farm, in wood production, or simply talking with Øystein about how he has been living and working was incredibly enjoyable. I learned so much thanks to Øystein and his kind and patient way of teaching. As for the tasks, they are very simple and suitable for everyone. 100% recommended. Øystein as a host was amazing; as a person, he is one of the warmest individuals I've ever met. He has a lot of charisma and genuinely enjoys sharing. I wish you much success and send a big hug from Guatemala! :)
