I really enjoyed my stay and asked to stay for another month. I loved working in the gardens and seeing the improvements everyone is making (especially Dave and Darcy). I've learnt so much about permaculture and intentional communities. the the community itself is so welcoming and I have made genuine friends here that I hope to stay in touch with.

Großartige Gelegenheit, etwas über Permakultur zu lernen. Viele Einheimische leben dort, also wenn du darauf aus bist, Australier kennenzulernen, ist das ein großartiger Ort dafür. Sehr interessant und Hippie-Stimmung. Ich liebte ihren selbst angebauten Honig und ihr Gemüse.

Dieser Ort scheint sich wirklich verbessert zu haben im Vergleich zu den letzten Bewertungen, die von Freiwilligen hinterlassen wurden. Die Leute waren unglaublich herzlich, und was den ganzen Wirbel anging, konnten wir uns leicht raushalten. Meine Hauptbemerkung: Bereiten Sie sich darauf vor, von einigen ungewöhnlichen religiösen Ideen einiger der Einwohner zu hören. Es ist mir egal, aber es könnte andere unbehaglich machen. Wir haben im Lorikeet-Gebäude übernachtet, und während ich frühere Anzeichen von schwarzem Schimmel sehen konnte (wie andere Bewertungen erwähnt), wurde er offensichtlich behandelt und größtenteils entfernt :) Die Arbeit war sehr erfüllend und entspannt; das Essen war köstlich! Alle waren wirklich toll.

I wouldn't come back here, nor recommend this place to anyone. Positives; unlimited free food, beautiful location, free accom, deep in nature, flexible with hours (I was sick for the first 2.5 weeks and they allowed me to make up hours missed). Negatives; black mold EVERYWHERE, everyone was sick from it while I was there. The energy of this place is really strange, the majority of people here are very self centered and not looking to connect with volunteers. There is a ton of gossip, passive aggressiveness, & no structure whatsoever. Also there was a domestic incident between members. 2/10.

Es ist interessant, das zu lesen, weil du darum gebeten hast, deinen Aufenthalt zu verlängern, und wir deinen Antrag nicht akzeptiert haben, da du keinen guten Ruf dafür hattest, Anstrengungen zu unternehmen, obwohl du krank angekommen bist.
Zwei weitere wunderbare Freiwillige, die an einem Marktstand geholfen haben, konnten nicht glauben, dass du die Stunden auf dem Markt gezählt hast, als sie sagten, dass du nicht geholfen hast.
Für mich klingt es nach einer rachsüchtigen Bewertung.

I truly loved staying in the the community. All the members and volunteers were very kind, considerate, and I was able to connect with many wonderful people. I really enjoyed working in the garden and learning more about sustainability and permaculture. Of course, sometimes things don't run perfectly, but if you're willing to contribute your part to improve things, you will have a fantastic time.

I have really enjoyed my time at the the community and spending time with the group of people there , volunteers and the community members alike! The work felt rewarding and fun, especially when working along side others and I really appreciated that you could take your own initiative and choose what you wanted to help with, to assist the the community, depending on your preferences. The surrounding nature is beautiful and I have been able to go on day trips to noosa, do various hikes and see the eumundi markets, which I would definitely recommend!

I had a great time at the the community, the people are really welcoming and we did some great day trips to see the local area too. There was a variety of jobs to get stuck into, from working in the garden with June who taught us all about the different plants, to cleaning guest rooms with Emma, to organising and cleaning the the community buildings. Everyone takes turns cooking for the the community and dinner is shared every evening, other than that you can help yourself to food whenever you're hungry.

This is a beautiful place with a diversity of tasks including cleaning, gardening, and random upkeep/admin tasks! I really connected with the new the community members and had lots of fun welcoming new volunteers and getting to work together! the the community seems to be in a bit of a transitional period so I expect some improvements will be made to create a better vibe overall; but as a volunteer I had so much fun connecting with people from all over the world, taking every chance to go to the Eumundi markets and the beach, and learning alot from June in the garden! Would recommend for sure!

I was so sad to leave. the the community is a beautiful place full of wonderful people in the most stunning nature. Working in the garden was a lot of fun and Ian has a lot of knowledge he can share with you on permaculture and sustainable living. I loved every evening when everyone comes together and cooks and enjoys yummy food (sometimes fresh out of the garden) The accommodation was wonderful with my own room and clean bathrooms. I will hold all my memories dear to my heart and would recommend everyone to go.
