Meine Erfahrung war mehr als wundervoll; wenn es möglich wäre, eine höhere Bewertung zu geben, würde ich dies im Handumdrehen tun. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich, zuvorkommend und verständnisvoll. Die Erwartungen an die Arbeit sind vernünftig. Die Arbeit zu Hause erfordert Detailgenauigkeit, aber sie arbeiten an Ihrer Seite und geben Ihnen stets respektvolle Anleitungen. Ihre Kinder sind reizend. Ja, sie haben ihre Momente, wie alle Kinder (wie ich auch), aber sie sind gut erzogen, neugierig, intelligent und freundlich. Ich hatte das Glück, Klavierunterricht bei ihren Söhnen zu geben. Die privaten Zimmer sind sauber und bequem.
Ich habe die Erfahrung absolut geliebt.

Es war eine erstaunliche Erfahrung, mit ihnen zu arbeiten. Sie waren sehr geduldig und freundlich, als ich Fehler machte. Die Kommunikation war konstant und ich war immer über die täglichen Aufgaben informiert. Ich habe es wirklich geliebt, dort zu arbeiten, und es hat auch Spaß gemacht.

Dies war meine zweite Worldpackers-Erfahrung und ich habe sie wirklich genossen. Von Anfang an haben sie mich willkommen geheißen und für die ganze Zeit meines Aufenthalts geschätzt. In den nächsten drei Wochen habe ich viel gelernt, besonders über Ernährung und Glauben. Anna und Joel sind sehr offen für Diskussionen und wir hatten interessante Gespräche beim Mittagessen. Ebenso mit den anderen Freiwilligen, mit denen ich auf kleine Ausflüge gegangen bin. Die meisten meiner Aufgaben bestanden darin, mich um die Jungen zu kümmern und in der Küche mitanzupacken, was immer gut zu managen war und eine gute Erfahrung bot. Das war eine ziemlich unvergessliche Erfahrung :)

My stay at the home family surpassed any expectation I might have had before coming. Words can not express what I have gained from being with Anna, Joel, the kids and the other volunteers. They are the kind of people you rarely meet in your life, so it's best to cherish the time you spend with them. As with any volunteering opportunity, don't come here if you are expecting a vacation. While the work itself might not be the most challenging, every task requires diligence and thoroughness, especially working with the kids. Come with the right attitude and you will have the time of your life.

I stayed three weeks there and the family is caring and have a lot of knowledge about nutrition and religion, which can be really interesting since they are really open to teach you and debate about almost everything. I had a good conexion with most of the volunteers, but don't expext to meet a lot of people, it's more about staying long time with the same persons :) The only complain I could have it's that the working hours are more than five every day, many days being full day shift, and the free day is only Saturday. But the task are not difficult, they just take a long time. Love the food!

Danke für deine Nachricht. Es wäre mir lieber gewesen, wenn du mir das persönlich gesagt hättest, da ich mehrmals gefragt habe, ob alles in Ordnung ist und ob du Freizeit brauchst. Viele Male hast du gesagt, dass du helfen kannst, wenn nötig. Einige Tage waren ganztägig zum Arbeiten, weil Dinge erledigt werden mussten. Du hattest ganztägig frei, außer dem Samstag, zum Beispiel am Visingsö-Tag. Du hattest oft halbtags frei. In den Arbeitszeiten ist die Essenszeit oder das Abwaschen des Geschirrs nicht enthalten, weil du es ohnehin tun müsstest, wenn du frei hättest.

I stayed with Anna and Joel for just over 2 weeks. I helped them with various tasks: gardening, playing and spending time with the children, helping with house tasks (cleaning and organising) and assisted with their the home. They are kind and generous people who try and help to make the world a better place by being passionate about people having a healthier lifestyle nutrition wise - which is what their the home is based on. I had a good time in this family and enjoyed taking care of the children. They were very kind and funny! Anna and Joel are wonderful people who always tried to make me feel comfortable. I have to say that the house really is surrounded only by nature so if you are a person who loves visiting cities or go out at night, this is not a place for you. The schedule is flexible though so you can take the bus during the week and visit cities such as Linkoping, Jonkoping etc. On the week-end you can go to Granna by car with the family too. Thank you for this experience !

We adopted their vegan lifestyle, learning about healthy foods and habits. Her advice improved our understanding of nutrition. Time with her family enriched our routines. Anna is caring and attentive. Joel is a person of pleasant conversation. The children are delightful. The beauty of the environment has left an indelible impression on us. This was my first experience as a volunteer, and it was amazing! Joel and Anna are a fantastic family, they are very sweet and kind people, and they really make you feel like part of the family. They are always willing to accommodate your needs. My work involved spending time with the children, helping out a bit in the garden and around the house, but I also had free time to visit nearby cities and relax (highly recommend a swim in the lake! :) )
