Es war meine erste Erfahrung als Freiwilliger und ich hätte nicht besser wählen können. Die Farm de der Farm liegt mitten im Nirgendwo, aber die Umgebung ist besonders schön, insbesondere zu dieser Jahreszeit. Ich habe viele neue Dinge ausprobiert, zum Beispiel Vieh zu treiben, was manchmal eine Herausforderung war :)) aber schön. Alle waren so nett, ich hatte das Gefühl, von Anfang an Teil der Farm zu sein, und es war schwer zu gehen. Vielen Dank für so eine schöne Zeit, die ich mit euch verbracht habe.

I had a wonderful time volunteering at the farm de the farm. The work can be a bit challenging at first if you're new to this type of experience, but it's also incredibly rewarding. The facilities are amazing, and everyone made me feel very welcome. It was especially wonderful to work alongside Sara! I'm very grateful for the experience and would definitely recommend it to others :)

It was my first volunteering experience, I loved these two weeks in this village and on the farm, Sara and Begona are adorable and wonderful people. The animals and Moxy the dog are sweethearts and I was able to learn a lot of things during the working hours. I didn't find the work really tiring. The moments in community are unforgettable and life in the village is sweet and pleasant, I also had the opportunity to make two or three excursions to the nearby towns and villages with Begona and Sara! Thank you for everything it was amazing ❤️

I felt warmly welcomed at the farm, contributing to this eco project and living in a small Portuguese community. Cristiana is very knowledgeable about the farm, she makes sure you feel comfortable and at home and also you can always communicate with her about your needs or concerns. The job itself is quite physical, which you could expect, might get overwhelming at the beginning but as soon as you get the hang of everything, you will feel that your work makes sense. I would highly recommend this experience, however be aware of the cons of living in a quiet rural area hahah

Aleksandra war eine sehr gute Ergänzung; ihr schnelles Verständnis davon, wie alles funktionierte, machte sie zu einer zusätzlichen Bereicherung für das Team. Sie zeigte sich als sehr verantwortungsbewusst, fleißig und trug dazu bei, eine gute Atmosphäre zwischen den restlichen Teammitgliedern aufrechtzuerhalten.

We had an amazing time at the farm Romba! Cristiana was such a great host, making the work fun and the whole place feel so welcoming. Meeting locals and visiting the neighbor's farm made it even more special, and we left feeling like we'd really connected with the community. Overall, it was an experience we won't forget!

Our time at the farm was better than we could have imagined! Cristiana was so kind, helped us with everything and explained everything thoroughly, so we knew what we were doing. She also made sure to introduce us to the neighbors, who all made us feel very welcome at Romba! For anyone who loves being outside, petting dogs and learning about portugese culture this is a perfect fit. 10/10 recommend coming here!! Greetings from Tirza e Laraa

I enjoyed working at the farm. I especially loved the calmness and peace of the village, the warmth of the local people who live there, and taking care of animals and hanging out with them when we had some spare time. This experience let me immerse in local culture, get a glance at what farm life is like, and enjoy the beauty of south Portugal. It was nice working with Christiana because she is passionate and serious about what she does and I appreciated her professionalism and the way she thoroughly explained all the tasks. I most definitely recommend the experience :)

Es war ein Vergnügen, Eugenia bei uns zu haben! Ich möchte ihre Gelassenheit, ihre Sensibilität gegenüber anderen und ihre Lust, in Kontakt mit der Natur und Tieren zu sein, hervorheben. Eugenia war eine große Hilfe für uns und sie hat wirklich zur Arbeit auf dem Hof beigetragen.

Cristiana is an incredible host who has taught us a lot about animals and how to take care of a farm. Additionally, we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture with the townspeople. It is a very valuable opportunity to learn in an environment far from the city, giving you the opportunity to learn new things.

Es war großartig, Leire und Andrea zwei Wochen lang bei uns zu haben. Sie haben viel zur Arbeit auf dem Hof beigetragen, besonders zu einer Zeit, in der wir mit den Tieren hart arbeiten mussten. Trotz aller Schwierigkeiten haben sich die Mädchen als fleißig erwiesen und ihre Hilfe war sehr wertvoll. Sie sind sehr verantwortlich, arbeiten gut im Team und haben eine Sensibilität gegenüber Tieren. Ich bin sehr dankbar für ihre Hilfe.
Neben all der Arbeit auf dem Hof war es schön, sie in die Gemeinschaft integrieren zu sehen.
Ich kann die Mädchen nur für Ihre nächste Freiwilligenerfahrung empfehlen!

Cristiana it's an incredible host, she always made us feel welcome. The task were as hard as you can expect if you are working in the fields, it was very entertaining and there was always something you could help with. I loved the time we spent with the animals and Moxy, and learned a lot about taking care of them and the place we were. The people in the farm Romba are very welcoming, even if you don't speak the same language, and its another way of learning about the culture and the people who lives there. I'm really happy we decided to came, and wish that we could've stayed more!

This was a fantastic experience, working in nature with lovely people. I really enjoyed every day working at the farm. Cristiana is an excellent host and is very patient, kind and intelligent. Daily tasks mainly consisted of moving the sheep and goats to new paddocks, filling water, and laying/taking up fence lines. This work was almost always done by midday, and then the afternoon and evening is yours to do what you want. In the village, there are some very kind and friendly older people, as well as another (much larger) farm. Everyone in the village is very kind and friendly.
