Ich habe meine Zeit mit Jo und Andrew geliebt. Sie haben mich von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt und waren immer da, wenn ich Fragen oder Probleme hatte. Sie waren bei den Arbeitszeiten sehr flexibel und sorgten immer dafür, dass ich genügend Pausen hatte :) Der Ort ist wunderschön; ich sah jeden Tag Kängurus und atemberaubende Sonnenuntergänge. Der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen. Ich werde es vermissen!!

Ich war absolut begeistert von der Erfahrung. Joey und Andrew waren so herzlich und standen immer für ein Gespräch offen. Es ist ein schöner, ruhiger Ort mit Kängurus, Vögeln und einem kleinen See in der Mitte. Ich hatte einige wunderbare Momente.

My time with Jo and Andrew was wonderful. The place is amazing, the cottage is beatiful and they take really good care of you. They're really understanding and I really apreciate that because I have a mental illnes so I'm in my best but that's not the best someone can be so all the accomodations they did are really important for me. I leave really dirty the kitchen the last day because I woke up later that I should and I want to publicly apologize to the host and promise that I'm not let it happen again.

I had an amazing time staying with Jo and Andrew! They are very kind and humorous people, and they do their best to make you feel welcome. The work here isn't too difficult and they are very flexible with the hours. While the location is a bit remote, they are willing to drop you off in town on your days off which is really nice if you want to do some exploring. The cottage is gorgeous but it does get a bit chilly at night, so make sure to bring warm lounge/sleeping clothes if you visit in winter!

I had the most amazing time at Candelbark! Jo and Andrew are two of the kindest, most caring, and helpful people I've met during my travels. The cottage is cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The tasks vary depending on what's needed, but they're always different, so you're not stuck doing the same thing every day. Waking up to birds chirping and watching kangaroos every morning while sipping coffee were definitely moments to remember. I'm very grateful for the experience and feel lucky to have met such lovely people. Thank you, Jo and Andrew! I can't wait to come back.

Andrew and Jo are really nice, and the whole family in general. Waking up with kangaroos around me and living in the wilderness has been a very enriching experience. I would definitely go back again. It is a place with a magical energy. Just as Andrew and Jo make it magical. Thank you for welcoming me in such a way.

Jo and Andrew are amazing people that made us feel welcome from when we first met them. The work was fun, and jobs and hours were very flexible, and you could see kangaroos everywhere around the house! Wish we could have stayed longer because of the cozy atmosphere. So far this has been one of our favorite experiences here, we cant wait to come back and spend some time with Jo and Andrew! Thanks a lot!

Es war schön, Sofia und Cam bei uns zu haben. Beide waren bei den Aufgaben, die sie erledigt haben, insbesondere bei der Beseitigung von Ginstersträuchern, hervorragend.
Sie waren sehr engagiert und es war eine Freude, sie zu beherbergen.
Wir hätten keinerlei Bedenken, sie anderen Gastgebern zu empfehlen. 😊

I had an amazing time at the guest house. Jo and Andrew are wonderful hosts who truly made me feel like part of the family. I loved sharing meals with them, talking about my home country, and sharing music with them. I spent half my time in the RV and half my time in the cottage and despite some unfortunate plumbing issues, both were quite comfortable. The work consisted of maintaining the property by weeding, organizing the tool shed, and the occasional help with cleaning the house. Hours were respected and Jo and Andrew were flexible with my schedule. You'll have a great time here.

It's been a very fulfilling month. The warmness, kindness and laughter that Jo & Andrew shared with me, the lovely little mud brick cottage that has been giving me protection from the horse flies and the sun, the beautiful surroundings, the animals; kangaroos, peacocks, ducks, cockatoos, parrots, ibis, kookaburras, carps, and the cats (Loki I'm gonna miss u buddy). I did a lot of gardening jobs, like digging, raking, leveling the ground, and planting a lot of Agapanthus around the property. We destroyed a caravan, that was real fun. Jo & Andrew kindly gave me lifts to visit surrounding areas
