Zweifellos das beste Hostel in Dahab! das Hostel hat eine fantastische Mischung aus großartigen Gästen, effektiver und freundlicher Geschäftsführung und Personal, und so vielen großartigen Veranstaltungen zum Genießen (meist kostenlos 😉). Die Arbeit ist ein Kinderspiel, aber dennoch genug, um mit den Gästen und was um die Stadt herum vor sich geht, in Verbindung zu bleiben, und du hast jede Menge Freizeit, um Dahab für dich selbst zu genießen. Ehrlich gesagt, verpasse nicht die Gelegenheit, dem Team hier beizutreten :)

Ich liebe das Hostel! Die Aufgaben machen Spaß und sind locker, und man lernt fantastische Leute kennen! Das Hostel-Team ist unglaublich, und ich habe meinen Aufenthalt tatsächlich verlängert, weil Dahab ein sehr besonderer Ort ist! Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Freiwilligenmöglichkeit!!!

Ich habe eine wunderbare Zeit im Rafiki-Hostel verbracht; ich habe hauptsächlich Reels für soziale Medien erstellt und fotografiert. Sie arbeiten wie eine Familie und es gibt immer etwas zu tun! Die Stimmung ist fantastisch und ich bin schließlich schnorcheln gegangen und zu einer Bergparty mit ihnen gegangen, während ich mir auch Zeit genommen habe, meinen Teil beizutragen :). Ich würde sehr gern wiederkommen! :)

I volunteered at the hostel for two months and ended up extending my stay thanks to the welcoming and friendly team. From day one, I felt part of the hostel family. From an HR perspective 🤓, what makes the hostel special is the quality of its people, which clearly reflects the strong vision and values of the management. I met wonderful people and leave with great memories. The tasks are simple with a flexible schedule. For future volunteers: come with an open mind and enjoy the experience. Ich kann meine Erfahrungen nicht wirklich in Worte fassen — und natürlich ist meine Meinung voreingenommen, weil das Rafikis-Team zu meiner Familie geworden ist. Die Arbeit ist fantastisch, und für jeden, der soziale Interaktion genießt, gibt es wirklich keinen besseren Ort. Die Zeitpläne werden eingehalten, alles ist organisiert, und alles, was sie im Gegenzug verlangen, ist Engagement.
Ich habe die Energie, das Team und alles, was wir dort erlebt haben, geliebt.
Meine Familie in Dahab — ein Teil meines Lebens, den ich nie vergessen werde. Danke für alles.

Ich hatte die beste Erfahrung als Freiwilliger im Hostel!!! Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort, ich habe mich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt! Das ganze Team ist unglaublich. Und deshalb verstehe ich, dass es viel mehr ist als nur ein Hostel, es ist eine Gemeinschaft! Vielen Dank für diese unvergesslichen Tage, ich werde sie für immer in meinem Herzen bewahren!!!❤️

I had the most amazing time at the hostel in Dahab! From the moment I arrived, the vibe was absolutely incredible. The team at the hostel is top-notch—so friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. They went above and beyond to introduce me to the city and its amazing culture, showing me the best spots and the hidden gems that make Dahab so unique. What I loved the most were the daily events and activities—they really created a sense of community and fun. Every day there was something to do, whether it was a group outing, a diving trip, or just chilling with fellow travelers.

Absolutely loved volunteering for the hostel! I have experience volunteering for different hostels and this one is definitely doing A LOT of things right for the short time they've been operating. I loved the quality of events we were in charge of. They don't joke around with that. At first it was a bit overwhelming learning so much and so fast but then I got the hang of it and every manager did remind me of my capabilities and were willing to talk things through when mistakes happened, which is something I highly appreciate! I finished this experience with a huge smile on my face! Thank youu!

Being part of the hostel's team was a dream come true, and I'm so thankful to everyone who made my journey unforgettable. It wasn't just a job – it was an incredible experience where I learned so much about hospitality and met amazing people. As an event organiser, I spent time chatting with guests, promoting hostel events, and ensuring everyone felt welcome. I also attended plenty of events, picking up skills and insights along the way. Volunteering at the hostel was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Dahab is a very special town that truly changed my life. The hostel is a perfect place to meet people from all over the world! For me, though, the thing that makes it special is the opportunity to connect with locals. Many Egyptians stay at the hostel, and it's beautiful to connect with them. At the hostel, you're genuinely treated as a volunteer, and the staff members are the kindest people I've ever met. I'm really grateful for this experience and hope to come back soon! <3
