Ich verbrachte eineinhalb Monate im Hotel, und es war eine bereichernde Erfahrung. Es ermöglichte mir, die philippinische Kultur zu entdecken, während ich auch meine Fähigkeiten im Gastgewerbe verbesserte. Michael, seine Familie und das gesamte Personal waren reizend; ich empfehle dringend, mit ihnen den Tauchkurs zu belegen und das Meeresleben rund um das Hotel optimal zu nutzen. Ich schlage auch vor, ihren Empfehlungen zu folgen, um sich wirklich einzutauchen und die Philippinen eingehend kennenzulernen. Es ist zweifellos eine Erfahrung, die ich immer bei mir tragen werde. :)

Es war ziemlich cool. Ich bin schließlich länger geblieben und hatte während meines 6-wöchigen Aufenthalts ein eigenes Zimmer mit Meerblick. Das Essen ist ziemlich gut. Die Gegend wird von Tauchern und Schnorchlern stark nachgefragt, also wenn das dein Ding ist, wirst du zufrieden sein. Es gibt so viele Kreaturen zu sehen. Die Arbeit an sich ist einfach und Neriza und Michael sind sehr nett. Ich habe 6 Stunden gearbeitet, 5 Tage die Woche, entweder meinen Dienst um 14 Uhr begonnen oder beendet, so dass immer Zeit blieb, etwas anderes mit meinem Tag zu machen. Sie waren auch flexibel, wenn ich einen bestimmten freien Tag brauchte. Der Rest des Personals ist super nett, super nett und respektvoll.

I had an amazing experience. Impossible to describe in 600 caracteres how much I liked it. The place is beautiful, quiet, full of nature, the house reef is precious, and you can see many species. The room is comfortable, the meals are delicious and the staff is so nice. The mission is very interesting, I learned a lot and loved the contact with the guests, I met so many amazing people. Michael and his family will have a special place in my heart, they were so lovely, loved our conversations. They are involved in projects locally, and deeply connected to the ocean. I hope to come back soon.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The work hours were good, free food during work days and half price on my days off. Using snorkeling equipment is free and the hotel is right at the ocean. You are able to get a PADI diving course and dives for reduced prices as well!! The owners, staff and fellow volunteers are really lovely people and was fun talking with them. I wish them all the best moving forward! the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, which makes it very peaceful, but highly incentivises to get a motorbike for ~5000 PHP at a rent shop for a month. Would come here again for diving 😁

Volunteering at the hotel was an amazing experience! We stayed at a beautiful the hotel, helped with admin tasks, and connected with international travellers and friendly local staff. A perfect mix of work, culture, and community.
