Die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Projekt von Luiz war eine bereichernde und herausfordernde Erfahrung. Jeder Tag war ein Tag voller Lernmöglichkeiten. Die Aufgaben verlangen in der Regel körperliche Anstrengung, aber mein Arbeitstempo wurde immer respektiert. Am wertvollsten war es für mich, mir der Liebe und der Verantwortung bewusst zu werden, die zum Anbauen nötig sind, und dankbar zu sein für die Gesundheit und die Kraft unserer Hände, die es uns ermöglichen, die Erde zu bearbeiten. Luiz war ein freundlicher Gastgeber, der sich von Anfang an um mein Wohlbefinden sorgte, respektvoll und sehr großzügig. Wir genossen kulturelle Veranstaltungen und interessante Gespräche.

Ich hatte während meines Aufenthalts eine sehr gute Erfahrung. Luiz ist wirklich nett und gelassen und war sehr zuvorkommend und kommunikativ. Die Aktivitäten entsprachen dem, was vereinbart wurde, und die Umgebung war ruhig und respektvoll. Neben der Hilfe bei den Aufgaben war es auch eine schöne Gelegenheit, zu lernen und kulturellen Austausch zu erleben. Insgesamt war es eine großartige Erfahrung!

Das Projekt war eine wahre Heimat für mich, ein sicherer und ruhiger Ort, an dem ich mich entspannen, genießen und lernen konnte. Luiz ist ein besorgter und einfühlsamer Gastgeber mit einem wunderbaren Projekt und Tieren, die er mit viel Zuneigung betreut. Ich empfehle diese Freiwilligenarbeit von ganzem Herzen, danke! 🌻🫰🏽

My days at the project were life changing, not only for the amazing people I've met but also for the huge impact it had in the way I see life. Everyday I miss the earth, the dogs, the company and waking up to the beautiful landscape of serra negra. I learned so much with Luis and with the other volunteers that became friends for life. Every moment there was really special, can't wait to go back. We also had a chance to go to town, and to a waterfall, so it was a very rich experience. Alongside all I've learned about sustentability, I've been trying to apply it to my day to day life.

My experience in Instituto da Roça was amazing! I learned a lot, and not only about permaculture, agroecology and agroforestry, but I also learned about myself! About the processes we go through and that just like plants have their growth time we also have! Luis is a very intelligent and open person, talking to him is wonderful, he has become a special friend in my heart! I wish everyone can have the experience of going to Serra Negra and live this learning as great as I lived, my tips are: Go willing and bring repellent and sunscreen! Stay more than 15 days!!! It's safe for girls!

O Luiz é um querido! A recepção foi 1000....Muito atencioso e sabe atender as necessidades dos voluntários. As instalações são perfeitas,uma casa bem espaçosa só para os voluntários. Sobre o Trabalho, pode ser intenso e um pouco cansativo pra quem está um pouco sedentária kk como no meu caso! Mas poder está em contato com a terra e aprendendo sobre o plantio e a colheita é anergizante. O horário não ficou bem definido, mas eu trabalhava até ficar cansada e o Luiz super respeitava! Foi um belo aprendizado. Recomendo para quem tem intenção de se conectar com a natureza.

Fiquei uma semana e eu já não queria mais ir embora, me conectei com muitas pessoas extraordinárias que vieram de outros países e aprendi muito com o manuseio da terra. Recomendo para quem quer ter paz de espírito e trabalhar com a terra de forma orgânica. O anfitrião é atencioso e sempre da todo suporte aos voluntários.

My experience at the farm was filled with unforgettable firsts: my first Worldpacker adventure, my first volunteering opportunity, and my first foray into agroecology. I couldn't have asked for a better setting than the stunning Serra Negra forest, teeming with wildlife, including colorful parrots and a pond. Luiz, the host, was exceptional. I found a true friend in him—always eager to teach and share joyful moments with me and the other volunteers. Foi uma experiência incrivelmente boa no sítio! Luis é uma pessoa muito gentil, prestativa, paciente e competente. Além da experiência com a permacultura, foi uma experiência comunitária maravilhosa que também me apresentou a outras pessoas maravilhosas que compartilharam a experiência de voluntariado comigo, a saber, Teryn e Rai. I initially went to the farm with the goal of learning more about permaculture, but what I ended up gaining was so much more. The experience was incredibly inspiring and productive, offering lessons that went beyond agriculture and touched on meaningful aspects of life. The environment was welcoming, and every moment felt enriching. I left with not just knowledge, but also a deeper appreciation for mindful living and community.
