My experience at the host could have not been better. Since the first time I spoke to Lucy until my last day at the host I felt the support of the team and any questions or doubts that I had would get answered immediately. Getting to work with such a beautiful organisation that fights to give a proper life to all this children was very eye opening and beautiful. I fell in love with every single one of the babies and saying goodbye was so heartbreaking, but I am so glad that I got to spend the time that I had with them and was able to make their days a bit more fun.

First, I want to thank Lucy for allowong this volunteering experience with the kids to happen. This is not an easy volunteering experience as it demands to be truly present emotionally for them. This means that no phones should be allowed to use in their playtime. This should be respected by everyone (which doesn't happen in real life). Some people keep taking pictures and videos of them non-stop. Which doesn't allow that emotional presence to happen. And time is all we can offer as volunteers. Beside that, the kids are simply angels on earth. They should be protected and respected by all.

I really enjoyed my time volunteering at the host. The children are the absolute sweetest! Everyone working there and volunteering are very friendly and make you feel welcome as well. It feels like one big family. I will definitely be back!

I absolutely loved my stay with the host, it was an amazing experience and i had the best time ever. you actually feel like you're making and impact and build such an emotional connection with the babies. The worker are really friendly and tried to help us whenever we had questions. i would recommend it a lot, sometimes it's a little emotionally challenging as some of the kids have a sad story. but i would do again, instantly!

I spent a month at the host in July and returned for two weeks in December. It's a truly unique experience. You quickly become attached to the children, they each have their own personality, and they're always smiling and happy. Participating in this volunteer is very important to me because it allows them to get out, discover new things, and grow. I highly recommend spending a few weeks here.

I had an amazing time at the host!! It's been an incredibly rewarding experience and I definitely plan to come back again. I wouldn't say it's always easy; the amount of visitors that come in is a bit of a culture shock as you are being constantly filmed when they come in. But despite this I still thoroughly enjoyed my time and will miss the children very much.

100% recommend volunteering with the host. The time you spend with the babies is so important for their growth and wellbeing, and it's very rewarding to see their smiling faces everyday.

I truly enjoyed my time at the host! Being able to spend time with this kids, who other wise mostly don't come outside is golden! I actually felt like i was making a difference in those kids lives! It was more than playing, it was engaging building skills and trust… and of course a love and memories that will stay forever! I really hope that i have the flexibility to come back🙏🏼
