Wir suchen Leute, die gerne draußen arbeiten – oft umfasst dies Gartenarbeit, Landschaftsgestaltung und allgemeine Pflege auf unserem mehr als 60 Hektar großen Gelände. Wir sind dabei, neue Parzellen zum Anbau von Gemüse zu errichten, und wir bemühen uns, unser Grundstück für alle Besucher schön zu halten. Im Gegenzug für Ihre Hilfe bieten wir einfache, gemeinsame Unterkünfte, Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen (vorwiegend italienische Küche, saisonale natürliche Lebensmittel, Meeresfrüchte und Pasta).
15 Stunden Hilfe pro Woche
Malen & Dekorieren: Hilfe beim Streichen oder Dekorieren der Einrichtung.
Landwirtschaft: Pflanze Feldfrüchte, säe Samen und hilf bei Außenarbeiten.
Bauen & Reparieren: Hilf bei verschiedenen Reparatur- oder Bauarbeiten.
2 freie Tage pro Woche
Privatzimmer: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem privaten Zimmer. Mit anderen Worten, ein Zimmer nur für dich.
Kostenlose Wäsche: Du kannst unseren Waschraum frei nutzen.
Nutze unsere ausgestattete Küche: Nutze gerne unsere Küche und bereite dein eigenes leckeres Essen zu.
Grundlegender Internetzugang: Internet mit Grundgeschwindigkeit, damit du remote arbeiten kannst

Throughout the season (April thru October) help is needed for a variety of tasks - basic grounds maintenance and landscaping, watering flowers, tending to the vegetable gardens, building & maintenance, as well as other duties such as helping with house-keeping, cleaning, dishwashing, and/or boat rentals.
You will live in a shared volunteer house, affectionately known as the ‘Woofie House’, with a maximum of 5 other people. You will have your own private bedroom. The house has a full kitchen, bathroom with shower, lounge and a big private garden area. Laundry is available within the resort, during allotted times (4/5pm to 9pm).
We ask for 5 hours of work a day 5 days a week. You will be given 2 days off a week. We try to give these 2 days off together but if we are busy we may split them. Time off can be spent hiking, swimming, and relaxing. We live on a beautiful lake and have paddle boards, canoes and kayaks for use when they are not rented out to the public/our hotel guests. Our property is not serviced by any public transportation, so if you do not have a personal vehicle, we ask that you prepare for remote living for the duration of your stay with us. We are not within walking distance to any towns or anything but mountains and nature! If you are unsure about what you might need for your time with us, do not hesitate to ask.

We would hope that it goes without saying, but we exercise zero tolerance for violence, harassment, bullying, use of illegal drugs and unsociable/inappropriate behaviour. We expect you to respect the privacy of our hotel guests and to conduct yourself responsibly, especially during hours of operations and special events/weddings. We also have many staff members living on site and for the owners and these staff, Ruby Lake is home. We ask that you respect our shared home. Ruby Lake is also home to wildlife and big, beautiful nature which we strive to protect and care for. Being kind is cool and we ask that you exercise awareness for your neighbours and the environment in which we live.
