Help us keep our family home in Saylla clean, organized and welcoming. Tasks include light household cleaning, feeding our animals and walking the dogs. You'll stay with our family in a peaceful area about one hour from Cusco. Flexible schedule, with 3 full days off per week.

Gemeinschaftszimmer: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem Gemeinschaftszimmer, was bedeutet, dass du dir den Raum mit anderen Reisenden teilst.
Frühstück: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Frühstück an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.

We are looking for responsible, independent and organized volunteers to help us care for our family home and animals in Saylla, a peaceful area surrounded by Andean mountains, around one hour from Cusco.
My mother normally lives at the house, but she occasionally travels. This position is especially important during her absence, when we need help keeping the home clean and ensuring our animals receive their daily care.
We have 2 cats and 3 dogs. The main responsibilities include light household cleaning, keeping shared spaces organized, feeding the animals and taking the dogs for a short daily walk.
This is not a caregiving position for any family member.
I currently live in Europe and coordinate the experience remotely through WhatsApp and video calls.
We can welcome one or two volunteers, depending on availability. If two volunteers are staying together, they can share responsibilities and organize their days off according to their preferences.
You will stay in our family home in Saylla and enjoy a peaceful environment close to Cusco and the Sacred Valley.
If you have a valid driving license and are comfortable driving, a car may also be available for your personal use during your stay.
Activities
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Keeping the kitchen clean and organized.
* Sweeping and dusting shared areas.
* Organizing and taking out household waste.
* Helping maintain clean and comfortable common spaces.
* Feeding our 2 cats and 3 dogs.
* Taking the dogs for a short daily walk of approximately 20 minutes.
When my mother is at home, you will normally help with one feeding per day, at a time agreed with her.
When she travels, the animals need two meals per day. Feeding times and dog walks will be agreed upon in advance, taking into account both the animals' needs and your preferred schedule.
Flexible schedule
If there is one volunteer:
5 hours of help per working day, 4 days per week, with 3 full days off.
Working days and days off are flexible and will be agreed upon according to your preferences and the availability of family members who can cover the animals' care.
If there are two volunteers:
You can organize the responsibilities together, with each person covering approximately 3½ days per week and enjoying 3½ days off.
You are welcome to propose a schedule that works for both of you, provided the animals' daily needs are covered.
We will agree on working hours, feeding arrangements and days off before your stay. If feeding times need to be separated, we will also agree on how to organize them within your schedule or arrange additional help.
Your days off are completely free of household and animal-care responsibilities.
House rules
* Please treat our family home with care and respect everyone's privacy and personal spaces.
* We value reliability, independence and clear communication, especially when caring for our animals.
* Please follow the agreed feeding instructions and inform us promptly if an animal appears unwell or behaves unusually.
* Never leave the animals without their agreed care arrangements. Please inform us in advance of any changes to your schedule.
* Household help focuses on the kitchen and shared areas. You are not expected to clean private bedrooms.
* Please keep your own room and personal belongings clean and organized.
* Car use requires a valid driving licence and prior agreement with me..
* In the unlikely event of a medical emergency involving a family member, we may ask whether you are available and comfortable helping drive them to a clinic or hospital. This is not a caregiving responsibility.
* We respect your agreed working hours, privacy and days off, and expect the same consideration for our family and home.
Meals and lunch arrangements
Lunch is included on working days. Depending on my mother's availability, it may be prepared at home, provided by a local neighbor who offers homemade meals, or covered through a daily meal allowance equivalent to the cost of a local set lunch (menú).
We will agree on the arrangement and any applicable meal allowance before your stay.
