My time at the the school as a volunteer has been an immense gift. The patience, the respect and the affection with which the teachers and the sisters educate and accompany the children with special needs are worthy of admiration. In this space, every small achievement of the students is celebrated as a great victory. I deeply appreciate the openness of the community to welcome me and the purity of every child with whom I shared. It is a the school that not only teaches, but heals and fills with hope all those who cross through its doors. Furthermore, it always makes you feel at home.

Für mich war es eine sehr bereichernde Erfahrung. Ich gehe mit einem Herz voller Liebe. Das Teilen mit den Kindern war unglaublich. Und mitten in der Natur zu sein, ist ein Wunder. Jeden Tag in dieser Umgebung aufzuwachen, ist ein Geschenk des Lebens.

Es ist mein erstes Freiwilligenprojekt und es war eine wunderbare Erfahrung, die Hingabe, Liebe und Atmosphäre dieser schönen Arbeit zu teilen; ich empfehle es Physiotherapeuten, Krankenschwestern, Praktikanten der Körpererziehung, Lehrern, jenen Freiwilligen, die einen Beitrag zu den Kindern leisten können; sie werden gebraucht. Die Umgebung ist phänomenal, um nach dem Freiwilligenprogramm etwas Tourismus zu machen; die Ordensschwestern sind respektvolle, warme Menschen und das Essen ist exquisit; wenn du dazu beitragen willst, sowohl die Atmosphäre als auch die Bedingungen der Kinder oder ihres Umfelds zu verbessern, ist es etwas für dich.

Ich hatte eine wunderbare Erfahrung in Fundación Marillac; die Professoren waren außergewöhnlich und zuvorkommend, und die Studierenden sind unglaublich. Die Arbeit, die du machst, ist völlig eigenständig, was dich manchmal etwas verloren fühlen lässt. Aber wenn du eine Person mit Eigeninitiative und Tatkraft bist, ist das College ein großartiger Ort zur Zusammenarbeit. Da du mit den Studierenden zusammenlebst, sind die Tage lang und du musst jeder Situation, die jederzeit auftreten könnte, bewältigen; du musst also eine anpassungsfähige Person sein. Ich habe meine Zeit dort absolut geliebt; die Studierenden sind eine große Inspirationsquelle und ich habe während meines Aufenthalts viel gelernt und mich weiterentwickelt.

Mi experiencia como voluntaria en la escuela fue muy positiva, me gustó mucho trabajar con los niños ver cómo se desarrolla su día a día, me sentí muy valorada y apoyada por todo el personal del la escuela lo que hizo que mi experiencia fuera aún mejor. Las hermanas son personas maravillosas muy cálidas y solidarias me hicieron sentir como en casa . En general estoy muy agradecida por la oportunidad de haber podido contribuir al desarrollo y bienestar de la fundación.

Pasé un mesito en la fundacion y estuvo muy enriquecedor. El lugar es muy bonito y la gente muy acogedora. Los ninos son muy lindos y felices de ver nuevas personas que vienen para apoyar. Pero hay que ser bien motivados y de preferencia de ya haber trabajo con niños (y mejor con niños discapacitados), porque no es para cualquier, hay que tener energía para seguir el ritmo y gustar los niños. Si es tu caso te recomiendo este voluntariado, lo vas a pasar muy bien allá y ser muy útil porque siempre se necesita apoyo en las aulas! :)

My time at the school was amazing! During school we helped in the classrooms and after school we just spend time with the children. We went to the playground, danced with them or played basketball. Every single day we spent there was wonderful and heartwarming. This school is very very important for the children, because it gives them the love and the support they deserve! Everybody welcomed us super friendly, the room was good and you get 3 meals and 2 snacks a day. I would 100% recommend this experience to everybody who likes to socialize and loves spending time with children!

I stayed at the school for two weeks and I really loved it! Everybody was so welcoming and lovley, the teachers and nuns are unbelivable friendly and they really help you with everything. Also with improving your spanish(basic knowledge needed). All of the children there are so happy and thankful that you are at the school and it gaves you a lot if you see them laughing. The food you get is delicious and they pay attention if you are vegetarian or something. I highly recommend volunteering here, there is a lot of help needed; you can really see your impact and how thankful everybody is!
