I volunteered atthe the hostel in Midigama for 8 weeks and had an amazing experience. My tasks included working in the café and helping with guest check-ins and check-outs. The work was well organized, fair, and enjoyable. The host was friendly, supportive, and always available when needed, making me feel welcome from day one. I had plenty of time to surf, explore the area, and meet amazing people from around the world. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun and rewarding volunteering opportunity in Sri Lanka. Thank you for the memories – I hope to come back one day!

Freiwilligenarbeit bei Drifter war eine erstaunliche Erfahrung! Die Stimmung ist unglaublich, die Arbeit ist erfüllend, und das Essen und die Unterkünfte sind gut! Max ist ein außergewöhnlicher Gastgeber und weiß, wie man das Beste aus den Fähigkeiten jedes Freiwilligen macht! Ich hatte die Gelegenheit, so viel zu lernen, und ich habe meine Zeit dort absolut geliebt!

Was an amazing experience inthe hostel! Locals were so kind with me and staff was nice. Location is perfect and Midigama is one of the best place in the south. Just say thank you so much to Max and Dagi and I hope to return to share more time with all of you 😊
