Fate brought me here; I was going somewhere else. And I decided, like Steve a few days before, the best decision I ever made. Morning coffee, Steve's lasagna, sunsets at the chalet! Thank you for opening your home to me, thank you for your patience. I didn't feel like it was work, I enjoyed it, you get the hang of it easily, they are simple tasks. Steve took me to Annecy on my day off, then picked me up, he was very kind throughout. I have nothing but gratitude and highly recommend this experience. It nourishes the soul. Thank you, Steve ✨

Working in Chalet d'Arviere was a great opportunity to submerge in the lodge, be in a quiet environment, work on myself, great place for meditation. I love to be alone so this was a perfect place. Stéve was very respectful, tried not to overwork me, work was no brainer. I had a ni e space for myself, could hike every day! learned a bit about wild plants that you can eat. overall really recommended for independent travelers.

We had a great stay with Steve! He showed us how to prepare beautiful vegetarian dishes and decorate them with edible flowers. We also learned how he stays organized and manages many tasks at once. Steve is much more comfortable speaking French than English, so French speakers will probably get even more from this experience. He was always kind, welcoming, and happy to share his knowledge and way of life. Thank you for your warm hospitality
