Realmente me gustó ser voluntario en el hostal. El lugar es hermoso y relajante, con mucha naturaleza y una vibra hippie. El trabajo es fácil, el horario se respeta, las comidas son excelentes, y los anfitriones siempre son atentos y presentes. No pude entablar una conexión con ellos porque todavía estoy aprendiendo inglés, pero aun así, fue posible sentir cuán amables son y que tienen almas bonitas. Además, los otros voluntarios, Sietske, Lara y Curtis, siempre son tan amables y hicieron que mi experiencia fuera aún mejor. ¡Gracias a todos por todo!

¡Me lo pasé genial en el albergue! Tuve algunos problemas personales mientras estuve allí, pero me hicieron sentir segura y querida mientras los enfrentaba. El hostal — ¡Qué lugar mágico!
Rodeado por bosques, montañas verdes, ríos y cascadas, y aún tan cerca del océano, la arena y el viento.
Es un lugar profundamente conectado con la naturaleza, donde caminar descalzo se siente natural y solo fortalece esa conexión.
Pasar el mes de enero aquí fue una experiencia increíble. Conocí a personas increíblees, compartí momentos significativos y creé recuerdos que llevaré conmigo para siempre.
Realmente recomiendo esta experiencia de voluntariado y no puedo esperar a volver.
La naturaleza salvaje es realmente un paraíso.

Me encantó este lugar tanto. Conocí a las personas más increíbles y divertidas aquí. Si no hubiera hecho planes para después de este voluntariado, sin duda me habría quedado. Dom y Wes realmente convirtieron este lugar en un hogar lleno de cariño para mí y para todos los demás huéspedes. I really enjoyed my time at the hostel! They're the best, and I truly hope to come back again. It's a highly recommendable experience for anyone who wants to enjoy Wilderness at its absolute best :)

I loved staying at the hostel! Everybody was so kind, the people running the place as well as the locals. Working was super fun and easy. Everybody was welcoming and easy to get along with. The nature and scenery is beautiful, a lot of fun things to do around the area and the people in wilderness are also very kind.

Volunteering at the hostel has been a very special experience. The nature is beautiful and there is lots to see and do around the area. It can be hard to get around if you don't have a car, but you can always ask for a lift. The people at the hostel are wonderful and welcoming, they will make sure you have a great time. The work is easy and fun once you get into it. It can be slow sometimes but it's always busy with locals on open mic night and when there are bands playing. It was really cool to get to know all of the locals and get to immerse myself into their culture! Will definitely come back!

I ended up extending my stay! Everyone working at the hostel has been super welcoming and takes time to make sure the volunteers are having fun as well as the guests. Wilderness is a beautiful town and there are several hikes you can do from here as well as kayaking, paragliding, and horseback riding. It has been very nice to spend some time in a smaller town and see some of the nature in South Africa after starting my trip in Cape Town.
