Mi experiencia de intercambio de trabajo en el coliving ha sido una alegría. El trabajo consistía principalmente en limpiar habitaciones y apartamentos y lavar la ropa. Las 18 horas semanales, repartidas en tres días seguidos, me dieron bastante tiempo para hacer ejercicio, explorar el PDC y relajarme en las numerosas playas ⛱️ cercanas. De hecho, aún no he empezado a hacer el voluntariado. La sala de personal está muy sucia, y el baño no tiene puerta, solo una cortina, y está justo al lado de las camas. Hay otros voluntarios en la habitación que trabajan en otro lugar y vuelven durante la noche, encendiendo las luces, hablando en voz alta y poniendo música. No pude adaptarme, así que me fui después del primer día.

My 4 week volunteering experience at the coliving with Luis's team was one of the most amazing times of my life. Although it can be somewhat challenging if you don't speak Spanish like me, it's still manageable. You can choose different types of work to cover your free bed. Plus, it's rare to find a position where you only work a few days a week, allowing me to travel to nearby cities during my days off. The location is perfect, nestled between the local and the tourist area, making all the spots accessible by foot. I will never forget the wonderful members of the coliving team! 😁😁

The 4 weeks I spent doing this work exchange with Luis and his entire team (Sol, Ingrid, Ernesto, Melissa, Sandra, Belu, Nacho and Eduardo) were some of the best weeks of my life. The work is housekeeping so it is tiring but that is to be expected. Luis and his team were always understanding, flexible, caring, and most importantly they were fun to work with and live with! The work was as advertised and as were all the benefits i received as well. I am extremely glad i choose this program as my first work exchange and hope to come back to the coliving as a guest nest time im back in PDC
