Ha sido una experiencia que me ha marcado profundamente. En el daycare Hovinais, Flora, las teachers y los niños transmiten unos valores y una gratitud que te llegan al alma. Escalar el Kilimanjaro hizo todo aún más especial, pero sin duda lo más conmovedor fue el último día… me hicieron sentir tan querida que me fui con el corazón lleno. La casa es idílica, y Heaven y the project son increíbles: cercanos, generosos y siempre dispuestos a que te sientas parte de la cultura y, sobre todo, en casa. Me fui con lágrimas, pero también con la certeza de que volveré, hay lugares que se convierten en hogar

My experience the project was wonderful! the project and Heaven always made sure I felt comfortable and welcome. Heaven cooks delicious food and the house is spacious and cozy. In our free time we shared many great moments both in Arusha and beyond, including parts of daily life that allowed me to have a truly authentic experience. The children and teachers at the school are amazing and greet you with open arms. Together we played, painted and participated in classes. We even went on a safari together at Arusha National Park!

Ce fut un voyage incroyable, pouvoir vivre chez l'habitant est deja quelque chose d'incroyable mais chez le projet on se sens la bienvenue. Il est a l'écoute de ce que vous avez besoin et propose toujours de nouvelles expériences. L'école est elle aussi génial, le groupe d'enseignantes est adorables et t'intègre totalement a l'équipe. My experience in the project was surreal. So far one of the best trips of my life. the project and his partner are amazing, they did everything for me, took care of me during my stay. Even when I needed to wake up very early in the morning to da Safari, they had breakfast ready for me, so so lovely. He also used to accompany me to school and to the orphanage I was helping, and sor out any issues or pendencies I needed. The house where he lives is lovely, big, clean, hot water in the shower and comfortable beds! The kids and people are amazing, and they need a lot of help! ♥️

The project and Hevenlight are absolutely wonderful. They make sure you are comfortable, safe, and well taken care of. Madame Flora and the kids at Hovinais Day Center are also amazing. The day center provides childcare (mainly for single mothers) enabling parents to find work or continue their education with the goal being they can support themselves and give their children a sustainable future. I feel very lucky to have been able to be a part of what they are doing here.

My experience was amazing, full of wonderful surprises. We were very warmly welcomed by the project and Heaven. The house was very comfortable, clean, and well organized. The food was delicious, with traditional local dishes. We always had great moments around the table, feeling like we were part of the family. At the day care center, we were also welcomed by the entire team and the children. It was an unforgettable experience, in a place that truly has the power to transform social challenges. We felt very safe the project and in his home. He is an amazing host, always caring about our joy.

Tânia was a wonderful volunteer and a very supportive presence in our home and community. She helped a lot at the day care center, working with the children and the team with kindness and care. She also generously bought many important items for the school and children, including learning materials and food. Tânia joined us at our Lutheran church, shared family life with us, and showed genuine love for the local culture and community. We are very grateful for her time with us.

My experience was beyond amazing, it was a lifetime one, and that's all because of my host the project and Heaven, so im so thankful because of them, unique people. Since the first day the project made everything to make us feel safe, happy and living all the best and real life of the project. The house is very comfortable and safe. Heaven is such an amazing cooker, and made the best and tradicional food for us. The experience at the Day center was so great, everyone made us feel so happy and welcomed, the kids are so nice and cute. I will never forget this time. For sure it was the best place to choose.

Mariana was an amazing volunteer and quickly became part of our family and community. She helped a lot at our day care center by supporting learning activities and sharing new skills with the children. She also generously supported the kids with learning materials, food, and eating equipment. Mariana joined us at our Lutheran church and connected warmly with the community. The time the project, Evenlight, the director, the staff and the kids will be unforgettable for me. I not only have learned something about commitment and engagement for the people, I also learned something about the life of the tanzanian people and was treated like I was one of them. the project helped me wherever and whenever he could and made sure that his home was also mine. He showed me local markets and had an answer for every question I had. The engagement of Flora, the director, for the kids and teenagers at the school will always have a place in my heart. Ces 3 semaines passées avec the project et Hevenlight ont été géniales. Le travail avec les enfants est super sympa. Tout le monde est très investi et on a même eu droit à une petite fête avant de partir. Pour ce qui est de l'hébergement, c'est vraiment top. On a notre propre chambre et salle de bain. Le lit est confortable. Et pour ce qui est des repas, Hebenlight cuisine super bien et s'adapte à nos goûts. Pour finir, on a réalisé 1 semaine de safari avec the project. Il s'adapte vraiment à nos envies mais il ne fait pas hésiter à demander plus de précisions pour être sûr de faire ce que vous voulez

Romane and her partner were amazing volunteers! They brought great energy, kindness, and love to our community. They supported the children with learning, and daily care, and also helped a lot at home with different tasks. Both of them connected so well with the local people and made everyone feel happy and comfortable. We’re very thankful for their time, effort, and big hearts.
