Programa detallado
🎓 Help children grow – Support students (ages 4–15) as they build confidence and improve their English through conversations, games, songs, stories, and interactive activities.
👩🏫 Teach alongside local teachers – You'll work with our experienced Vietnamese teachers by co-teaching classes or leading parts of a lesson. We provide lesson plans, materials, and guidance, so no teaching experience is required.
🌍 Create meaningful connections – Our students love meeting people from different countries. Your encouragement and positive energy can make a lasting difference in their confidence and communication skills.
⏰ A balanced schedule – Teach up to 18 hours per week, with classes from 5:00–8:30 PM, five days a week (Sundays & Mondays off). Your mornings and afternoons are free to explore, relax, work remotely, or study.
🤝 Who we're looking for – Friendly, patient, and reliable volunteers who enjoy working with children, embrace cultural exchange, and are excited to make a positive impact while experiencing authentic life in Vietnam.
Actividades & Turnos
🌙 Evening teaching:
Help with English classes and English clubs by encouraging students to speak through conversations, games, and interactive activities alongside our local teachers.
⏰ Your schedule:
- 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- Maximum 18 hours per week
- 5 days a week
- Sundays & Mondays off
- Saturday evenings: Join our English Club for teens and young adults.
📚 Come prepared – We'll provide lesson plans and materials before each class. No lesson planning is required, but we ask that you review the lesson beforehand so you feel confident and ready to teach.
🌴 Enjoy your free time – Your mornings and afternoons are yours to relax, explore Tuy Hòa, work remotely, study, or enjoy the beach.
🚗 Explore with your hosts – We love sharing our hometown and aim to take volunteers on at least one free local tour each week to experience the best of Phú Yên together.
✨ What we ask of you – Arrive on time, bring positive energy, and actively engage with our students. Enthusiasm and a willingness to communicate in English are far more important than previous teaching experience.
Reglas
1. Be punctual and reliable. Arrive on time for your shifts and let us know as soon as possible if you're sick or running late.
2. Come prepared. Review the lesson plan before class and bring a positive, encouraging attitude to every lesson.
3. Dress professionally. Business casual attire is required while teaching. Outside the classroom, you're free to wear what you'd like, but we encourage clothing that is respectful of Vietnamese culture.
4. Be respectful. Treat students, staff, fellow volunteers, and our home with kindness, courtesy, and care.
5. Represent Elli positively. Be a good role model for our students by acting with integrity, respect, and professionalism both in and outside the classroom.
