Responsible for creating engaging Instagram content to grow Salty Sand’s online presence and increase engagement, including photos, videos, Reels, captions, and stories reflecting our beach lifestyle.
In return, we offer a free bed in volunteer housing, free laundry, discounted drinks, access to selected parties/events, and 2 weekly free family dinners with the team and volunteers.

Our volunteer program at Salty Sand is designed for people who want to experience beach life, meet others, and contribute to a creative, social environment. Volunteers usually commit to a set number of hours per week depending on the role, helping with tasks such as social media content creation, guest support, events, or general assistance around the property.
In exchange for their time and contribution, volunteers receive accommodation in a shared dormspace, creating a social and community-focused living experience. We also provide free laundry, discounted drinks, access to selected events and parties, and two weekly family dinners where everyone comes together to share a meal and connect.
The program is flexible and collaborative, allowing volunteers to gain hands-on experience, develop skills, and be part of a friendly team while enjoying life.
Our volunteer program at Salty Sand is a fun mix of work, creativity, and beach lifestyle. Volunteers work 25 hours per week and get 2 days off, with a clear schedule planned ahead so you always know your shifts and still have plenty of free time to enjoy the island.
Social media volunteers mainly focus on creating content for our Instagram, capturing daily life, activities, events, and the hostel vibe through photos, videos, Reels, and stories. Most of the time you’ll be part of social activities, guest moments, and experiences, so you can naturally create authentic, engaging content.
It’s a well-balanced setup: structured hours, clear planning, and lots of freedom outside your shifts to relax, explore, and enjoy the Salty Sand community.
