This was such a wonderful first time experience as a hostel volunteer! Unkas, Sara and Edin were so kind and welcoming. They gave me great tips on where to go and what to do/eat during my time here in their country. There wasn't really any training for the position but everyone was more than happy to answer questions and help me when I needed it. It was very learn as you go. It was extremely kind of Unkas to put us volunteers in an apartment. It gave me privacy, safety and respite that a stay in the hostel with guests wouldn't have. Sarajevo was just wonderful to me! I loved my time here!

This was an amazing experience, the tasks are super chill, the hours are respected and the other staff members sara and edin are wonderful. Unkas is a super nice host and easy to work with. Having the seperate volunteer apartment away from the hostel was really nice and a good way to seperate work and fun. also the weekly money we were given for breakfast was more than enough and very generous of unkas. definitely recommend especially if you're new to volunteering as this is a good starting point

Unkas was great! This was my first volunteering experience so I wasn't sure what to expect. The hours are good, the apartment for the volunteers was amazing to have our own space away from work, the staff were so nice. I would recommend Unkas and the hostel to everyone!!

This was my first volunteering experience. Living in Sarajevo for half a month was wonderful. Unkas provided accommodation for the volunteers, an apartment apart from the hostel. The accommodation's location is almost in the heart of the city. The tasks and responsibilities at the hostel were exactly as described on the website says. Moreover, the working hours were always respected. The volunteers were given money on a weekly basis. I really liked this experience. Thank you so much for everything.

I had an amazing time in Sarajevo with Unkas and the team. They are amazing people I had fun to work with. They really made me feel welcomed and appreciated. The tasks were very easy and aligned with the description of the job. As volunteers we lived all together in an appartment few minutes away from the Hostel (because of high season). That was a good surprise. I will probably go back there another time, to work or at least to visit these amazing people. I really recommend this place so you can have a taste of the Bosnian hospitality :)

During my stay at the hostel, hosted by Mr. Unkas, I had a wonderful experience. The hostel had a warm atmosphere, and respecting the set schedules helped maintain a peaceful environment for everyone. I enjoyed learning and having fun through various activities that connected me with people from different cultures. Overall, my time there was delightful, and I left with great memories and a desire to return. I just can say Thanks for everything( Edin, Hasem and Unkas)

The hostel is a great place with lovely people! I feel glad for this experience. About the work, you can learn quickly how to do everything and is super chill. Lots of fun ! Standard hostel work - making beds, checking people in and out, doing laundry etc. Accommodation in an apartment nearby, was good to have our space separate from the hostel. Overall recommend - but be warned it can be very hot work, especially in some of the rooms. Generous host, cool coworkers and plenty of great opportunities to be social and meet cool new people :)

Great experience to meet travelers and practice English. Tasks are accurate to the description. The hostel is very well-located, close to the city center, accesible to public transportation Unkas is a nice host. It was a nice experience for me volunteering with him. I recommend this opportunity to other volunteers.
