I really enjoyed my time in Narvik! Sissel and Øystein are very kind and welcoming people. I learned a lot about farm life and the animals and felt like part of the family. They included me in family activities while respecting my need for some time alone. They also gave me great recommendations for my trip and supported my wishes, for example letting me drive to a whale-watching tour that i really wanted to do. I highly recommend this project if you enjoy nature and family life! It was a wonderful experience and i am very grateful for the time i spent there!

Sissel and Østein are the most lovely and supporting hosts you could get. This was my first volunteer project and I wouldn't have wanted to do it anywhere else. We had great conversations and I learned a lot about farm live, animals, norwegian culture and life itself. The tasks varied a lot, starting from feeding the animals and cleaning or painting the barn to doing construction or helping in the household. The working hours are rather flexibel, depending on what needs to be done. I felt so welcome, thank you!
