I had the best weeks of my whole travel at the hostel. I met the most amazing people on the most amazing island! It was very well communicated what was expected from me as a social butterfly. The hostel became my home <3.

The hostel in the hostel was just a dream! The island is a paradise, i thought that 3 weeks would be too much but was like blinking eyes. My team was awesome, the guests also turn into family and we had fun together every single day. The hostel is very social, a great balance between nature and going out. The accommodation is also very comfortable, the staff is friendly, food is also good. We actually do 6 hours a day, which can sound a little bit too much, but the work is very easy going. Thank you so much for the opportunity! Hope to be back one day. Uxu, Katie, Layla, Vyla. miss you all.

The hostel has been truly magical for me the past month. As soon as I arrived, the other volunteers welcomed me with open arms. I went between teaching yoga in the morning and running the social roles throughout the day- both are painfully easy. Just have to chat with guests and get them excited for the days events. Doing that simple task, I got to stay on this beautiful island and make so many friends & memories that I'll never forget. I love this place so very much, it was an actually blessing to volunteer here. Don't hesitate if you get the chance. Shoutout Lexy & her magnetic energy ❤️

I had such a great experience teaching yoga at the hostel on the hostel t !! Everyone made me feel super welcome and it was a great way to ease into teaching as I just finished my 200 hr prior to going to the hostel t . Free breakfast and family dinners were definitely a plus and I met so many people from all over :) the yoga teacher position is great because you get a mix of chill and social for the morning shifts and then you can choose if you want to be a part of the party scene in the evenings. I loved my experience and I would definitely go back !

Teaching yoga on GA was a great experience— the hostel's yoga space was great to teach in, and I really felt like my teaching improved as I was able to get feedback from guests. The local staff at the hostel are great and really felt like family. The island in general was a great place to spend a month. The role was super social so make sure you're down for that!

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel gilli T! everyone was so lovely and the work never felt like work! It's a beautiful island and the hostel has to be the best hostel i've stayed at in my 7 months in south east asia, so beautiful, clean, friendly and there's always something going on! I was both an evening rep and social butterfly and enjoyed both roles! Everyone is very supportive and was happy to answer any questions! Plus the rewards system they have i felt was much better than other hostels pushing name recognition! I highly recommend!

Thank you Amy! Amy was a lovely addition to our team during her time volunteering in the social role. She was friendly and got along really well with our guests. Amy made an effort to connect with people, join in with activities and help create a fun and welcoming atmosphere at the hostel. She was easy to work with, positive and always approachable. We really enjoyed having Amy as part of the Tipsea Turtle team and would happily recommend her to other hosts looking for a social volunteer.

Volunteering at the hostel as a social butterfly for 3 weeks was definitely one of my highlights of my trip! Everything was well organised, we received our weekly shift schedules each week, which made it easy to plan our free time. The managers were very friendly and supportive, and always available if I had any questions. The local staff was just as welcoming, the whole team felt like one big family. The work was fun, social, and a great way to meet people from all over the world while spending time on this beautiful island!

The hostel was one of the best parts of my trip! From day one, the volunteers, local staff and managers made me feel so welcome. You get close in no time and it quickly feels like one big family. The volunteer house is a great place to stay and living together creates a fun atmosphere. The weekly schedule is shared in advance, tasks are always clear and the managers are supportive, approachable and genuinely care about the volunteers. I highly recommend the hostel to anyone looking for a social and well-organised volunteering experience! 🐢

My time at the hostel was amazing. The hostel is truly beautiful, the staff is very fun and friendly. Big shout out to Lexy, Greg and Deta. The party's on the island is unlike anything I've ever experienced before, it's truly amazing. Lots of nice things to do from the hostel, like snorkeling trips, paddleboards, painting etc. Would forsure recommend🙏
