You will help the local staff at a domestic animal shelter and rehabilitation center. Daily tasks include feeding the animals, cleaning the kennels and enclosures, just spending time with these animals and getting them to trust people again after many years of abuse, and also assist with fundraising and adoption events.
Please note that all volunteers need to be vaccinated against both Rabies and Tetanus in order to join this program.

Descripción: Volunteers contribute $20 per day for their accommodation at a local host family home, 3 meals per day, airport pick-up on arrival in Cape Town, 24/7 support from the family and our local team.

You will volunteer at an awesome facility - it contains an animal hospital, as well as a shelter and adoption center. You will assist the local staff with their daily operational tasks/duties. A truly enriching experience for all animal lovers!
Working hours are generally very flexible but most volunteers will work 4 or 5 days per week, from 09:00 - 13:00.
Volunteers need to have a strong passion for animals and not be afraid to get their hands dirty while performing cleaning/maintenance tasks.
