La experiencia fue positiva y hay temas a mejorar, esta fue mi primera experiencia. El trabajo en la granja es fuerte, exige tener bastante energia, en lo personal lo disfrute porque he vivido en granjas... pero otros se quejaban por varios motivos. La administracion de la comida no fue agradable, no habia una frecuencia de entrega por parte del host y algunos compañeros comian demasiado, por lo que a veces no alcanzaba. Considero que el host podria dar un direccion para que la comida quede bien distribuida para todos. Por la temporada hubo bastante trabajo, incluso mas horas de lo acordado..

Mi experiencia en el proyecto fue una buena introducción a la vida en la granja. El trabajo es principalmente al aire libre y puede ser físicamente exigente, por lo que es importante estar preparado. Realmente disfruté estar en la naturaleza y trabajar con los animales, especialmente caminar con las cabras por las mañanas, lo cual era muy relajante. El alojamiento es básico y podría estar más limpio a la llegada. La comida se proporciona como comestibles en lugar de comidas preparadas, con variedad limitada. La comunicación podría ser más clara a veces, así que recomiendo hacer preguntas y aclarar las expectativas con anticipación.

I had a wonderful time on the farm and enjoyed the work (taking care of the animals, witnessing baby goat being born, learning how to milk/nurse goats, fixing stuff,...) and free time (learning to make byrek, days off exploring the area). Shawn & Kyle are fantastic hosts that made me feel at home right away. The food provided was great (especially the veggies fresh from the farm gardens), the bunk room and kitchen are basic, but what more do you need? Shawn & Kyle, thanks for your trust and kindness and letting me be part of this! I hope to be back someday :)

Shawn and Kyle run a beautiful farm with the cutest animals. If you're looking to work while being immersed in nature, this is the perfect place. All they ask for is responsibility and commitment to the tasks. I'm beyond grateful for this experience 💗

Since the moment I applied to the project I knew it! I just knew it was going to be a very unique experience. Coming here was probably one of the best choices I've made in a very long time. Shawn and Kyle, you guys work really hard to run the farm and I appreciate it. Thanks for providing an environment where we can develop skills and work on ourselves :) Faleminderit shumë

Its a nice experience if you want to have contact with animals, the goats, donkeys and pigs are very friendly. If you like to live in a clean and organized place, you may not feel good at the project. You will surely have to buy food for yourself, because sometimes the food may be expired; during my stay at the farm, 5 volunteers got sick to their stomach, you may have to be careful with the tap water as well. The hosts asked another volunteer and me to leave early because they needed the space. Thank you hosts for the time you allowed me to be on your property and cooperate with your project.

Let's start with Kyle and Shawn are lovely people but unfortunately there farm is in the beginning stages, I understand there is a-lot of work to do and it's not easy but unfortunately my experience was not the best I do take in to consideration that I came at a very hard time of year but I would say some things were lacking like food ( they did supply but it was very bare minimum) if you cannot not handle chaos and unordered days this place is not for you but if you're looking to challenge yourself this is a great opportunity to contribute to there dream of sustainability just be prepared :)

We had an amazing time assisting on the farm, situated amidst stunning mountains in a remote area where the sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. During the peak season, we lent a hand in the kitchen, and it was a fantastic experience! We had the chance to explore our culinary creativity and learned valuable skills. We really enjoyed our stay at the project. It was our first volunteering experience, and it turned out to be a really fulfilling learning opportunity. We were able to cook with Shawn at the restaurant and help set up multiple beautiful events. Once the hotel season ended, we got to get our hands dirty on the stunning farm. We were grateful to extend our stay and during our time at the farm we created numerous cherished memories, forged new friendships, and acquired valuable skills. Leaving this incredible place is not easy. Shawn and Kyle, thank you for your warm hospitality!

I enjoyed my time at the project at its fullest. If you need some time to calm down your mind and get in touch with nature (plants and animals) and if you want to get out of busy and loud cities, this is the right place for you! The work was very diverse and i could learn a lot about animals, farming and growing plants. I hope to see you again!
