Tres semanas de voluntariado fueron absolutamente geniales. Gracias de nuevo por la bienvenida. Pasé tres semanas realizando las tareas diarias (alimentar a las gallinas, cabras, limpiar, pasear con los perros) y disfrutando del tiempo con los perros que eran adorables. Además, tuve la oportunidad de descubrir mucho los alrededores con resi o andando en bicicleta, así que genial :)

Mi tiempo en The Dog House fue un deleite. Resi y Vince fueron unos anfitriones encantadores, y el trabajo era razonable, con las horas muy bien respetadas. Hubo algunas cosas que no había hecho antes, ¡así que también aprendí algunos trucos nuevos! La comida de Resi fue siempre deliciosa y hogareña, y me sentí realmente muy bienvenido. Fue agradable poder hacer muchas rutas en bicicleta escénicas por las tardes/días de descanso también, aunque me mataban esas cuestas. ¡Tuvimos una estancia increíble con Resi y Vince! Aprendimos mucho en tan poco tiempo y fue una pausa muy agradable de nuestros viajes para desacelerar y volver a conectar con la naturaleza. Hicimos tareas durante 4 horas por la mañana, de lunes a viernes, y el resto del tiempo lo dedicamos a explorar. Muchos perros hermosos vinieron a quedarse y pudimos hacer senderismo, ayudar con la jardinería, tareas de limpieza, alimentar a los animales de la granja y algunas tareas de marketing. ¡Honestamente, pasamos un tiempo increíble, son dos grandes anfitriones y nos encantaría volver en el futuro! ¡Lo recomendaríamos!

Lo pasamos increíblemente bien con Resi y Vinny, ¡dos personas tan encantadoras y acogedoras! Tuvimos una experiencia increíble con Resi y Vinny. Calurosos y acogedores, nos hicieron sentir como en casa, lo que hizo que fuera difícil irnos después del tiempo que pasamos con ellos. Tuve un gran tiempo con Resi y Vince — son tan acogedores y hacen todo para asegurarte de que tengas un gran tiempo durante tu estancia. No hubo una tarea que no disfrutara y toda la comida estaba deliciosa - especialmente el pastel de naranja y almendras! If you love animals and nature this is the perfect place to volunteer! I extended my 2 week stay to 4 weeks and would have stayed longer for the baby goats!!! Thanks again Resi and Vince for such a wonderful first Worldpackers experience!! I couldn't have asked for anything more 🥰

I really enjoyed my week with Resi and Vinnie! They were both very welcoming and made me feel right at home in their cosy house. I enjoyed lots of delicious food everyday ( tiramisu 😋 ), and my tasks were well organised, getting to da good variety of gardening, farm help, and joining in on hiking with the dogs - all of which I enjoyed! I had plenty of time to explore the local area on my days off, doing a full day of mountain biking and another of hiking in the beautiful surroundings. I would highly recommend staying at the dog house farm!

This is such an incredible experience! Resi & Vince are so welcoming, kind, and willing to share in great conversation and experiences. I learned a lot about dog training and running a small local business in the community. I also had the chance to plant season appropriate crops. The bike ride to town is super straightforward and they are conscious of you having a great experience while working as well as time off. Staying for the full two weeks is great way to get into a routine and build connections. I loved going on all the various hikes with the dogs and getting some quality doggo time.

I had the best time on the Dogfarm! Resi and Vince where the best Hosts and i really enjoyed to be part of the Dogfarm and their Household! It was so great that everything was so well organized and i always knew in advance what i was going to do! To be surrounded by dogs and other animals (goats/gees/cows and chickens) was my favorite but i also enjoyed the gardening work very much and i have learned many new things for which i'm very grateful! I could use their bikes on my days off and explore the beautiful surroundings🥰 I can definitely highly recommend this volunteer experience!

I had so much fun staying with Resi and Vince! They made delicious dinners and went above and beyond to help me have fun experiences on my days off. I enjoyed the work I did, but wouldn't say it's easy. The three fulls days and four rest days made it very manageable, but expect to do good work in those three days. I would definitely recommend this to travelers that are looking to make adventures for themselves in nature and see Australian countryside living.
