Linda experiencia exepto por un encargado que que tiene falta de comunicación hacia los voluntarios. trabajo en equipo regular , hermoso lugar ,muy rica la comida ,buena onda los compañeros de trabajo.

Voluntariado en el albergue fue una experiencia increíble y significativa. Aprendí mucho, mejoré mi inglés al hablar con viajeros todos los días, disfruté de varios paseos en vela y nadé en la hermosa laguna de Bacalar todos los días. Javi y Joselyn, los líderes del equipo de Actividades, son personas increíbles, y el vínculo entre voluntarios y personal hace que la experiencia sea aún más especial. Hice grandes amigos, creé recuerdos inolvidables y crecí mucho como persona. El albergue dejó definitivamente una huella en mi vida!

¡Una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida! Bacalar es hermoso, y conocí a personas increíbles de todo el mundo. Joss y Javi siempre fueron amables y solidarios. Las actividades son divertidas y orientadas a los turistas, por lo que un buen nivel de inglés es útil. La comida y el alojamiento eran buenos, y siempre hay algo que hacer por la noche. Definitivamente volvería a ser voluntario aquí :)

Si quieres viajar, estar en contacto con la naturaleza, hacer nuevos amigos y relajarte de tu rutina, este es tu lugar. Hacer voluntariado en el hostal fue una experiencia extraordinaria. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

I've done a couple volunteerings now and I can say that the hostel is the best hostel I've ever been. Doing your "work" is fun, as its just the daily activities. Bacalar is a beautiful place, my favorite in Mexico, as a Mexican. There is nothing like Bacalar's lagoon, is like therapy to swim in it or in the cenotes around the lagoon. The only bad thing about the volunteering is the staff house, which is dirty most of time. I spent months here, and the staff started being like a second family for me, it was sad to leave. I also met many travelers and improved my english. I had so much fun:)

Amazing experience. The month i have spended there passed so fast. It was my first volunteering and this experience made me want to do it again and again. Bacalar is also an amazing place. There isn't another lagoon in the world like that. Super recommend it.

Volunteering here is such a fun experience! The people are great, so kind and inviting, and the activities in the hostel are fun and a great way to meet new people. The work is very fair and living in Bacalar is an amazing experience, there's a good balance of relaxation and fiesta. The staff housing is close to the hostel and the rooms are fine, but the kitchens are pretty dirty and some essentials like dish soap are not provided. Overall I would definitely recommend volunteering here if you are outgoing, can go with the flow, and like to party.

El voluntariado en el albergue tenía voluntarios amables y acceso a la laguna, pero eso es todo. El gerente Toti nos vigilaba constantemente, y las condiciones de vida eran pobres: chinches, cucarachas, colchones mohosos, sin almacenamiento seguro, y los voluntarios tenían que comer en una cocina separada, lejos de los huéspedes. Las actividades eran divertidas, pero con horarios estrictos. En general, no vale la pena hacer voluntariado aquí.

The experience allows to see the beauty in Bacalar, hostel by the lagoon to swim everyday and Sailboat and Paddleboard free tours🤙. The work is great, very fun and interact with guests, amazing time. Only downside is you don't live at the hostel, it's a residence specifically for workers and is not a very clean place. However has a good location and you get one lunch meal per day. Renata, Alfredo, guys from the bar and kitchen are very nice and friendly. Two days off and “work” doesn't really feel like work at all, it's just having responsible fun in the activities.

Volunteering at the hostel was an unforgetable experience. I got many great and a little maybe no thaaat great things to say about this place. Volunteers doesnt sleep at the hostel, they do at Pueblo Viejo. When I arrived it surprised me because things like the kitchen and fridge were increíble dirty, I couldnt find a place to save my food. The best about pueblo viejo is itd community, it was a place for thousand of laughs and meeting wonderful people. You'll work 6h, 5 days a week organizando the hostels activities. I loves the staff of the hostel, and Ill keep many of them in my hearth! Saludos Yakos
