The experience was great. If I had to choose one thing that I liked the most, it's definitely the group that I was part of during my stay. My advice to other travellers and volunteers is: get committed to what you're doing, and you'll enjoy more and more every time. The place, the day to day living, the tasks to be done, all is align to what you expect to have when arriving at a hostel. Host provides basic foods, tasks were as arranged previously, and as shown in the description here as well. I had an amazing month, and I say thanks to all the Kabeh Family, the staff and managers!

This hostel is the place you should go for if you're looking for having fun and meeting tons of new people. There's always something going on and even on nights when it's not full of people there's still a nice vibe. Shifts are not hard at all and allow you to get to know hostel guests with different backgrounds. The only thing i was disappointed about was the food provided as it is only available pasta and rice and about the rest you gotta buy groceries. Everything else gets 5 stars

This is the best place in Cancun. Here you will find many new acquaintances. Work will not tire you, because you are not alone and everyone works a little. Well, if you yourself sometimes want to work more, you will receive bonuses. I will definitely visit this place from time to time when the opportunity arises. If noise prevents you from falling asleep, then you can download the app on your phone with binaural beats and use the frequency of delta waves (2.5 hertz). This will help you fall asleep anywhere at any time, even if you have been diagnosed with a sleep disorder. Checked.

I had a fantastic time here, the people are lovely and the tasks for volunteers are very manageable. This is a predominantly Spanish speaking hostel so language can be a struggle but with the right attitude it's not a problem. Management were very welcoming and open to suggestions and feedback. I would definitely recommend coming to work here.

We had the best time here and loved all the people so much. It was always super fun and we really became a family. The only downsides were that the faculties can be pretty rough at times, you definitely have to buy a TON of your own food, and it can be sorta hectic/disorganized but given the chance to do this experience over again (the good AND the bad) we absolutely would. This place will be prefect for you if you are flexible, love to party, and don't mind roughing it a little.

You need to know that commitment with your task it's really important, after that you are free to do what you like! People here are amazing, kind and they treat you like family so it's easy to start feeling like home around here! Dani, Sam and all the crew are amazing, they will take care of you, and when you need something you can talk to them and they will be open to help you. Thanks guys for been part of my life and help me when I was going through rough times. I'm going to miss you all 😢

The hostel is in questionable condition, especially the bathrooms which were either dysfunctional or unkempt. The most troubling thing was that they don't actually tell you they've changed their organization to have 8 hour shifts until you arrive which I found to be deceitful. I tried however because I committed initially then realized it was draining and made me unwilling to actually enjoy the location and left early. They don't actually offer food, but rice, lentils and spaghetti. The tasks aren't clear until you arrive. Otherwise, I met some other awesome volunteers while there.

I absolutely loved all the people I met. from the people staying there to the people working will be my life long friends and i'm grateful to have them. Unfortunately other than that it wasn't the best experience, I felt very unsafe as a solo traveller at the hostel, and the conditions of the hostel were not good at all it was quite gross and dangerous unfortunately. I would do anything to spend more time with the same people but in a different location.
