La experiencia comenzó de la mejor manera, hasta que vimos mucha diferencia con respecto a voluntarios que también se encontraban en el lugar, fuimos los únicos a los que le exigieron una demanda de horas que no concordaba con lo pactado en la aplicación, sugiero a quien vaya en un futuro, no paguen por adelantado mucho tiempo, ya que no devuelven la plata! Quisimos establecer un acuerdo mutuo, pero recibimos un muy mal trato de su parte! No pudimos compartir tiempo en comunidad como exigían ya que de su parte no hubo interés alguno hacia nosotros! Super lindo todo, todos muy queridos, me recibieron super bien y fueron comprensivos al tenerme que ir un poco antes por temas de trabajo. Si te lo propones puedes practicar tu ingles, frances y hasta Árabe. ojalá les puedas ayudar con temas de contenido en redes sociales para potenciar el resguardo. en las noches sin luna vez La via lactea, por supuesto debes adorar a los animales y todo lo que ello conlleva (paciencia y limpieza). Tienen un nuevo proyecto de farming el cual también puedes aportar un monton.

Halima y Henry fueron muy acogedores, siempre estuvieron atentos a cualquier necesidad o requerimiento que tuviéramos, nos sentimos como en casa! :) Tuvimos una pieza muy cómoda en el segundo piso, donde podíamos compartir mucho con los gatitos que vivían ahí. Generalmente los horarios y las tareas eran flexibles, lo que nos acomodó mucho para tener tiempo también para estudiar/trabajar, etc. El lugar es genial para estar en contacto con la naturaleza y pasar tiempo con los perritos, los vamos a extrañar!

Fue una experiencia maravillosa. Lo que hacen en el refugio es increíble, se preocupan por los animales y no solo los cuidan si no que tb intentan generar conciencia sobre la tenencia responsable. En cuanto al lugar en si, es muy lindo y cómodo, Halima hizo todo por hacerme sentir cómoda y a gusto, además la comida era exquisita. El refugio no queda en la ciudad de Essauira misma, es al interior por lo que se siente mucha paz y tranquilidad… quede con muchas ganas de volver, no lo descarto en absoluto.

Ha sido mi primera experiencia con woldpackers y ha sido genial!! ¡Halima es una anfitriona excelente! me ha gustado mucho haber compartido este tiempo con ella (y vivir rodeada de animales, pasear por los alrededores...) ¡una pena no haber conocido a Henry! He podido ver cómo cuidan de los animales y el esfuerzo que ponen para que tengan una vida mejor. Aunque la situación no ha sido la ideal a causa del covid (normalmente hay más voluntarios allí) he podido colaborar un poquito con este trabajo tan bonito y necesario que Halima y Henry llevan a cabo. ¡Muy, muy recomendable!

Volunteering at the organizationwas my first volunteering experience and I loved it! Henry und Halima are incredibly nice people and very supportive, so I felt at home there soon. Taking the organizationthe cute cats was fun and I liked being surrounded by animals all the time. The way the organizationhelps animals is really inspiring and so are the people I met there. Thank you so much for sharing your work, your home, your food;), and your knowledge, I learned a lot and had a wonderful time! I am looking forward to coming back ❤️

This was my first Worldpackers experience. The tasks are chill, but there's always something to do. I closely looked after a kitten for nearly 3 weeks and it was a wonderful experience and will miss little Luna dearly. Communication with Henry & Halima was always reassuring and they have contacts with most people. You are fed well (almost too well) and be sure to spend time downstairs as much as you can, as you can play many games with other volunteers. Thank you H&H!
