Volunteering at the hostel was definitely a learning experience! Awwad is a respectful and friendly host who instantly welcomed me as I was part of his family. During my stay in the Wadi Rum Village I really experienced the local way of Beduins life. My main duties included creating content for the website + online booking platforms, taking & editing pictures and video in the hostel. I was also able to unleash my creativity in a magic place where nature has not been re-arranged by the hand of man and silence becomes soothing and powerful. Shukran Awwad & Trta!

I had a really nice experience working with the hostel, the team is really friendly and welcoming. During my stay in Wadi Rum I learned a lot about the local culture, cuisine and traditions. And of course the hostel itself..just left me speechless. It's a magical place with stunning landscapes and amazing starry sky (now I literally see why it's called the hostel on Earth😂) Personal thanks to Awwad who made this experience so amazing, and made me feel here really safe, so that I could take the most of my experience in Jordan. 🐪😄
