The volunteering was amazing ! i made loads of great memories while volunteering . Mr. dung is one of the great people you will ever meet, he is funny and very understanding ! the volunteering house is half an hour far from hanoi city , but it's okay ( riding the bus as a foreigner and everyone is looking at you is quite an adventure ). the food was good , traditional vietnamese food made by mr. dung's wife :)

Great place to volunteer with very flexible hours. Weekends will be the busiest for you because there are more classes on weekends. During the weeks, if you have nothing planned you will get bored be cause there are less classes to teach and so not much to do. But Hanoi is just a 30 min bus ride away (pretty decent in my opinion. Accom is hostel style (nothing glamorous) and food includes home cooked, simple Vietnamese dishes (again nothing super glam). You must pay a fee if you are planning to stay less then a month. The lessons themselves are great to teach once you get comfortable teachin

Our experience in the great volunteer house was great. We were comfortable and the hosts made us feel at home. We collaborate in social networks, videos and photographs. We learned more about English. The meals were great, excellent to be honest. We particularly fell in love with the Vietnamese culture. Thank you, Dung and Lanmai for opening the doors of your home and your heart.

I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone. If you have an open mind, then I think you'll find this opportunity very rewarding, always remember that you are making a huge impact for the kids and community. Don't be shy to ask for information or anything you may need, the hosts and other volunteers are there to support you, but you need to speak up.

GREAT TIME HERE!!! Dung and his family are the best hosts ever! And overall the volunteering/teaching experience was great! The kids are super cute and im really happy i decided to spend my time here in the organization. I was only gonna stay for 1 week but ended up staying for the rest of my time in the organization! I think the program is really organized... and i dont understand why others said it wasn't. You get your schedule every week so you know when and what time exactly you will be having classes. Of course things change sometimes.. but that happens everywhere. Overall great time here! THANK YOU DUNG!

The place is in the north of Hanoi, about half an hour to the city center. Classes are held both in the organization and in communities around the area. Mr. Dung takes you to class when he can but sometimes you'll have to take a bus. Food provided is good and you can also walk to the village's main street if you want to buy something. You have Monday and Tuesday off. The classes are quite nice, some better than others. Sometimes you have a TA to help you control the students, which is helpful for the small ones. Beds are quite uncomfortable, I couldn't get a good night of sleep most days.

My experience volunteering here was nice. There were a lot of noice because of the construction but probably the next volunteers won't have that problem. I really enjoyed the experience of teaching but the program wasn't very organized and the students were always different so it was hard to build a connection. The family is friendly and the food was good, also you could cook your own. The classes were paid, something that I didn't knew because I though it was volunteering but it was a nice experience and I'm very thankful

If you want to live and know with a local family from the organization, this is a good opportunity. Usually, there are a lot of volunteers from all over the world although sometimes you can be alone as well, it depends on the time you get there. Otherwise, the family is so nice, and the village is so typical without tourism, perfect to live like Vietnamese people. You will teach English in different houses, and different ages. Also, you can teach in a kindergarten. Hanoi is 30-40 mins by bus. But the bus is so cheap: 9000 dongs. In general, traveling there has been the experience of my live.

I had so much fun and met a bunch of amazing people that made my experience worth it. The program itself is a bit disorganised with changes at the schedule which for me wasn't a big deal. However, it's a bit frustrating to get the feeling of not being as helpful as I could. I wish I could have changed the way they learn English which is basically make them repeat what you said. The program needs help! If you're a teacher with long term experience you could make the difference there.
