El hostal es un gran lugar para conocer a viajeros internacionales y para explorar Roma! Estás justo al lado de Termini, lo cual es conveniente para viajar en tus días libres y para explorar Roma. Aprendí a ser recepcionista, a preparar bebidas y a organizar eventos sociales. Me gustó trabajar como recepcionista, es muy similar a ser Pam Beesly en 'The Office'. Tus contactos principales durante tu estancia son el otro voluntario y la gerente Yulli. Yulli es super amable y servicial, y toma tus preguntas en serio.

¡No podría haber pedido una mejor primera experiencia de voluntariado! Yuli, Linda y Steve fueron tan acogedores y son personas adorables. El Beehive Hostel era cómodo y se sentía como un hogar lejos de casa. Pasé dos meses increíbles y habría quedado más tiempo si mis circunstancias de vida fueran diferentes. Pensé que me costaría un poco mantener el ritmo de la parte social del trabajo, pero el Beehive Hostel tenía el tamaño perfecto para tener conversaciones más significativas y sustanciales con los huéspedes; conocí a personas que recordaré para toda mi vida. ¡Una experiencia absolutamente gratificante para mí! :)

El albergue fue la primera experiencia de voluntariado perfecta! :) Las horas son justas, el apartamento donde nos quedamos era agradable, y el trabajo se hace más fácil con el tiempo. El paseo social y el aperitivo también son una forma muy agradable de conectarse con gente. Linda, Yuli y Steve están siempre dispuestos a ayudar si tienes alguna pregunta, y son realmente personas increíbles. ¡Formé recuerdos maravillosos allí, no podría recomendar esta experiencia más! Roma es una ciudad increíble, y alojarse en el albergue lo hizo aún mejor; también tienen las mejores recomendaciones de comida!

The hostel was the best first experience I could have asked for as a volunteer. The owners are very welcoming and make you feel very confortable from the start. They were always very clear and communicative about what they expect from volunteers, and they let the volunteers themselves organize the schedule. The hostel's atmosphere is social in just the right way, and they promote social activities led by the volunteers, which helps us meet new people and makes the experience more fun! I definitely recommend it to everyone. Not to mention the amazing bagels!

I had the best time at the hostel, everything was so organized from the training to the schedule, and the owners (and Yuli) were always so responsive if there were any issues, any time of day! The work is fair and also really fun, social but not party which is perfect for me. Running the social walks was the highlight for me! Thank you so much Linda and Steve, I'll definitely be back to visit in the future!

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel! The owners were always friendly, reliable and if there was an issue, they helped us out at any time :) you had a clear structure, you're able to create your own schedule with the second volunteer (the hours are provided) and communication was really good! You also get your own apartment which is shared with the other volunteer, and the shifts were always manageable (only the Sundays felt long sometimes because you cover the whole day). All in all I can recommend!!

As a first experience, it couldn't have gone better. the hostel has an amazing team, I always felt welcomed, and everyone is always ready to help! I was surrounded by honest, easygoing people, always with a smile on their faces and a wealth of knowledge to share 😊 I easily came to call the hostel home, and I'll definitely be back, even if just to say hello

I definitely recommend being a volunteer at the hostel! Yuli, Steve and Linda are really welcoming and do everything in their power to make sure that you will have a great experience. The work meets the job description and if you are looking for an international environment where you will be able to meet people from all over the world, the hostel is the perfect place for you!
