My friend and I spent a few days staying with Sujan and his family and it made our time in Kathmandu! They are very special people and run a fantastic after school project for local kids, which we helped out at. The kids are amazing and very interested in learning and playing! We also helped Sujan's parents with their organic farm doing some weeding etc. in the mornings too. Such a welcoming family and invite you into their house with open arms… I would really recommend this experience :) the food is amazing too!

Sujan and his family were lovely hosts making me feel welcome at all times. It was amazing to learn about Nepalese culture and traditional way of life. Even when I was feeling ill, they were always taking good care of me. Working with the children is lovely and gives you a great feeling. I was looking forward to their energy everyday. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking to bring a smile to children's faces and learn about local culture.

The family is very kind and welcoming. Plenty of Dal Bhat to be eaten as well. I had plenty of free time to explore Kathmandu and you could do other activities too as teaching the kids was around 1.5 hours in the afternoon. Teaching English with the kids is fun as they are very competitive and like playing games. I also did some small chores on their small farm which was good work.

Sujan and his family were very kind and welcoming! For anyone considering this opportunity in the future I will clarify its not a children's home it's an afterschool program, you'll only have a couple of hours a day with the kids and other than that there's a lot of freedom and flexibility

We have had the best experience staying at the organization! Firstly the host family were open and welcoming, giving us insight into how they live and Nepali culture in general. We were here during Diwali and were invited to join the family in different rituals and celebrations - are truly enriching experience! Apart from that we got to learn about the organization project and got to spend time with the local kids, which has also been an amazing opportunity. It has been very inspiring to meet this family and be apart of their project. All in all a truly great experience!

This opportunity was truely so rewarding. The kids are full of so much love, personality and enthusiasm to learn.Sujan and his family are so welcoming, caring and sweet. There is a lot of time to explore the Budhanilkantha area including the temples and stupa's nearby, as currently the children are only coming for two hours a day. I attended a yoga class that was incredible. The volunteering location is also only a short distance from kathmandu central area by bus or inDrive ( Thamel, durbar square) I loved the dal bhat for dinner and the homemade bread and organic fruit is delicious.

This was a great experience! the hosts are very welcoming to everyone and even though i felt a bit sick, they took great care of me and let me rest:) the kids are the sweetest and there's enough time to explore Kathmandu and the beautiful neighborhood ! the iniative to help the kids in the local community js truly inspiring and i felt honored to contribute to this, even for just a few days. I would definitly recommend, and come back here!<3
