Gerti fue muy acogedor y amable. Nos ofreció llevarnos al centro del pueblo y quiso socializar con los voluntarios. Los turnos eran de 4 horas al día, 6 días a la semana. A 5 a 10 minutos a pie de la playa. Una excelente forma de relajarse y explorar Vlorë. Mi alojamiento compartido estaba justo al lado del hotel y era muy básico. The facilities and staff at the hotel are nearly unmatched. We fell in love with Lady in the kitchen, Tamara in the reception, the view from the rooftop, the hotel room we got to stay in, and all stunning beaches and resorts that surround. I prefer other coastal cities like Sarandë and Himarë, but this part of Vlorë is very special. When we arrived, we put our heads together to set up a schedule and outline of responsibilities for each shift as these details were lacking which wasn't suitable for a working digital nomad like me. My advise is to make your needs known and get things in writing.

I recently had the pleasure of volunteering at Gerti's hostel, and it was hands down the best worldpackers experience I've had. Gerti is incredibly lovely and accommodating, making you feel right at home. The work is easy and manageable, leaving you plenty of downtime to explore the city and enjoy the beach. Overall, it was an amazing experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking to volunteer!

After a not great experience at another hostel this was a breath of fresh air. The hours specified are accurate and you can change your shifts with others. I spent most of my time topping up the breakfast bar and chatting to the guests. Gurti is super helpful and aided us volunteers in anything we needed. Ended up staying a hotel room as accommodation which was sweet after many many hostels. Highly recommend!

Gerti is such a good host. He always offers to take us into the centre or cook us dinner sometimes or take us for a trip around vlore. Definitely a great first experience.

I had an amazing experience volunteering in Vlora! Gerti is a great host, he was incredibly helpful and took great care of us throughout our stay. I shared a comfortable hotel room with another volunteer. The work was simple and straightforward, and the host was very flexible with our schedule, allowing us plenty of time to explore and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend this opportunity to anyone looking for a great volunteer experience in Albania!

My first Worldpackers experience couldn't have been better. Gerti is incredibly generous, helpful, kind and welcoming. And the staff is just as lovely. I had the chance to meet amazing fellow volunteers during my time there. The work during the breakfast shift was easy and I had the rest of the day free to relax. I often spent my afternoons at the nearby beach, which was just a short walk from the hotel. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious!! It was the perfect experience for chilling out and I can't recommend it enough!!!! Thank you Gerti!

My experience at the hotel was fabulous, Gerti was very kind and generous to all the volunteers. The room was also great and the breakfast was delish. The hours were limited and was great to meet other volunteers. The location is near a nice beach so there is a lot of time to enjoy the beach each day. Would recommend to other travellers!

This was the best experience ever, Gerti is the perfect host, from the first moment You feel like at home, he always cares about You, the place is perfect, You don't want to leave it! I stayed there almost one month and it was one of the best time in my life! 100% recommended but be careful beacuse You will not want to go anywhere else! I'm already missing my time there! My first Worldpackers experience at the hotel was beyond amazing! Gerti was incredibly supportive, making me feel at home right from the start. The volunteer work was well introduced, making it easy to understand the tasks and feel confident in contributing.
