I couldn't have asked for a better experience in Norway. From the first day pål made me feel at home. He is open minded and easy to be around and i really enjoyed our conversations and working together. We mainly repaired fences and worked on the hay harvest and pål trusted me with the tractor and other machinery i had never used. He was always fair with the working hrs and he really went the extra mile to make sure i had a good experience. The dogs are fantastic and full of energy, the sheep are very well cared for and the farm is surrounded by beautiful norwegian nature. :)

Mi tiempo en la granja fue una gran experiencia y estoy tan agradecido de haber estado allí para ayudar durante la temporada de partos. Pål fue muy amable, cariñoso y acogedor. Fui hecho para sentirme como en casa desde el primer día y aprecié su amistad y humor durante mi estancia. La ubicación de la granja está realmente en una hermosa parte de Noruega; es muy pacífica y tranquila y rodeada de montañas impresionantes. Fue una oportunidad tan única para aprender y experimentar la forma en que Pål opera y dirige su granja y fue bastante impresionante, por decirlo así. Estoy muy agradecido y lo aprecio todo.

Mi estancia en la granja fue realmente increíble, nunca olvidaré las impresiones y experiencias que tuve el placer de vivir y ver. Pål tiene un carácter único, su amabilidad, su mente abierta y su humor me hicieron sentir como en casa desde el primer día. La vida diaria es muy flexible, tuve mucho gusto trabajando (especialmente cuidando de los corderos :) ), pero también hubo espacio para explorar la hermosa naturaleza haciendo senderismo y pequeños viajes por carretera. Los perros son muy afectuosos, lo que me encantó 😍. Estoy increíblemente agradecido por mi estancia y espero poder volver algún día… ¡Gracias Pål por todo!

What a great month! I’ve always dreamed of learning more about farm work and I couldn’t ask for a more beautiful experience than the one Pål gave me and the other guests he was hosting. Moreover, today I can say I leave not only with beautiful memories, but also with new friends. What I will miss most about this experience: the cuddles with the lambs, the evenings shared with Pål and his guests, my morning coffee on the outdoor terrace that offers a view of the mountains, the hikes, the 4x4… hehe! Thank you Pål!!!

Mi estancia en Pål fue genial. Es muy amable y, aunque soy tímido, le encantaba contarme historias y datos sobre Noruega, lo que me hizo sentir muy cómodo. Sus dos perros también son adorables.
Estuve aquí en octubre, así que mis tareas consistían principalmente en dar agua y comida a las ovejas, pero también en ayudar a mover manadas de un lugar a otro, a ayudar a clasificar y pesar ovejas, entre otras cosas. Hubo días grandes tanto como días tranquilos, pero nada es realmente difícil de hacer.
El paisaje que rodea es hermoso, con o sin nieve y tuve la suerte de ver las auroras boreales.

Me sentí muy a gusto en Pål’s Gård, compartiendo la casa con los demás, cenando juntos cada noche. En verano, el trabajo principal de Pål es hacer bolas de hierba, así que mis tareas estaban en el granero o alrededor de la casa – limpiar, pintar, cortar el césped, cuidar del perro. En septiembre, empezamos a traer las ovejas desde el bosque a casa, lo cual fue una experiencia increíble para mí. Ninguna de las tareas era difícil, y eran adecuadas para cualquiera. I stayed here two too short weeks during the end of lambing season. Tasks were feeding and giving water to the sheeps, giving bottles to the lambs (😍) and helping to take them in the wood - I enjoyed every single task! Pål made sure we felt at home - also with my vegetarian belongings - and to meet new people from the same country or with same interestes! During my time I got to learn much about sheeps and general farm work. Spending time with their 4 dogs and being surrounded by so beautiful nature was so nice! Thanks for everything again!

My experience at the farm was incredible—one of the most enriching of my life. I learned so much, immersed myself in Norwegian culture, adopted new habits, and enjoyed the peace of its breathtaking landscapes. Above all, the farm, Brit, their family, and friends showed me unparalleled kindness, always supporting me, especially when I needed it most. The four dogs—Love, Lucas, Cris, and Illow—brought daily joy, and working with the adorable sheep, from feeding them to organizing their day, was unforgettable. Thank you, the farm, for everything!
