Mi estadia en el anfitrión fue llena de diversion , siempre hay algo que hacer o aprender , aunque no quize hacer mucho kite , mejore mi surf y aprendi a andar de skate , no es solo un equipo el que trabaja alli , sino que tambien la gente del restaurante es miembro de este equipo y conviven diariamente , te sentiras dentro de una pelicula y si quieres ayudar hay mucha flexibilidad y orden desde mi estadia todo a mejorado y seguira asi ! My way fue una buena experiencia en general, tuve oportunidad de conocer personas increíbles y generar amistades muy lindas, practiqué deportes y actividades como así también conocí más de Portugal y sus alrededores, el único inconveniente fue el esquema de horarios de los voluntarios dado que no era muy claro y a veces pretendían que demos más de lo acordado, pero todo se podía conversar y arreglar. Para un futuro mejoraría la organización y la claridad.

Tuve un mes increíble con el anfitrión Kite and Surf. Desde el principio, me sentí en casa — realmente se siente como una gran familia. Todos son súper acogedores, flexibles y te hacen sentir incluido. Es fácil conocer a otros voluntarios, hacer amigos y conectar con los locales. Mi tarea principal fue ayudar con el desayuno, lo cual fue fácil y sin estrés, con mucho tiempo libre para disfrutar de la playa. Puedes tomar prestadas tablas de surf en cualquier momento, y el equipo te anima a probar cosas nuevas, como el kitesurf. Tuve una gran experiencia y definitivamente recomendaría este lugar! 🫶🏼

Tuve la mejor experiencia de mi primera vez como voluntario aquí: este lugar está lleno de personas increíbles que lo hacen sentir como una gran familia cuidándose mutuamente. Las tareas son muy flexibles y principalmente ayudas con lo que se necesita y con tus propias habilidades. Allí me dieron una habitación cómoda para quedarme y también tenían el restaurante más increíble de todos, donde fácilmente podías tomar un snack o cenar. Sólo tengo amor y cosas buenas para este lugar y me encantaría volver algún día

He estado en My Way durante casi 2 meses, fue mi primera experiencia de voluntariado y me sentí parte de una familia desde el primer día. Es un gran lugar para crecer y aprender nuevos deportes o nuevas actividades. Estuve aquí durante la temporada baja, así que había mucha libertad respecto a las cosas que podías hacer durante el turno, teniendo la posibilidad de expresarte también con bricolaje, pintura, restaurar patinetas, etc. Estoy seguro de que recomendaría este lugar; tuve la oportunidad de conocer a muchas personas especiales y me llevé un trocito de mi corazón aquí :)

I had almost two months of one of my best experiences traveling. I met volunteers, employees, guests and customers who became friends. Karaoke and Kebab nights, learning a new language, boat trips, cooking together, card games, surfing despite the cold and having fun. Although having had a lot of work every day by not having many volunteers in the low season, it was still possible to enjoy Aveiro and I'm very grateful to have been part of the host family, I will definitely be back soon.

I had no expectations when decided to go to the host but it really got me! I felt really welcome by the people there and had a lot of fun during my stay: Karaoke nights, playing la bamba around the bonfire, skating around... it was really nice! the place itself is a bit far from everything but you will be able to borrow bikes, skates or maybe even the car to go shopping or visiting the places you want. you also get a good coffee and a nice bread everyday. Laura is a lovely person that will be looking after you making sure you have all you need 🫶 thanks for everything guys!!

My time in the host was awesome! You feel part of the family the moment you arrive, Laura and mathias were such AMAZING host! They give you a lot of authonomy and trust, you have flexibility to choose your tasks and schedules (as long as you communicate of course), they give space for clear dialogue and they truly hear you and try their best to make you feel comfortable and safe. You have full access to everything the kitesurf the host provides, you have discount in the bar/restaurant and the vibes are totally incredible. I couldnt have had a better time. Seriously. Gonna miss everyone tremendously
