Recomiendo mucho. Es un sitio encantador, los organizadores son empaticos y flexibles, se tiene en cuenta las preferencias de los voluntarios para elegir los días libres y creo que todo se puede comunicar fácilmente. La gente aquí es maravillosa, tanto los voluntarios cómo la gente que viene a meditar y también los huéspedes, los horarios en mi opinión son bastante buenos, y el trabajo en housekeeping es claro y sencillo, algunos días hay más trabajo que otros por algunos eventos. Personalmente estoy muy agradecida, ha sido un hogar para mí, también mejoré mucho en la meditación.

Tuve un gran Tim en el Centro. Trabajaba como personal de limpieza y el trabajo parecía que nunca terminaría, pero con más gente ayudando logramos mantener el espacio organizado. Los días más duros fueron ordenar y limpiar, desde el desayuno hasta las 7 de la tarde limpiando la cocina. Richard, Desmond y Lobsang son geniales y me dieron una muy buena bienvenida. El centro está bastante aislado, pero con las bicicletas que prestan allí pude recorrer todo el campo e incluso fui a Irlanda del Norte. Hacer autostop también fue muy fácil, así que no veo el aislamiento como un problema. Realmente te recomiendo hacer voluntariado en JL. ¡Gracias!

A wonderful experience! It has allowed me to connect with people, with nature, and with myself. The people who run the center are extraordinary and willing to help us at every turn. I had experiences I'll never forget with people I'll never forget. The surroundings are magical - lakes, trails, enormous trees—they make you feel small. The food is healthy, tasty, and abundant. I am grateful for everything I have experienced at the Center. I wish much love to everyone who lives there. I found what I was looking for: Myself.

I had an incredible time volunteering at the Center. The peacefulness at the Center is unlike anything else I've experienced. This stay is a great opportunity for people looking to escape the busy-ness of life, connect with other international volunteers, learn about Buddhism (if you want), and eat some amazing food!! I left the Center, a lot of memories I brought from it, from each person I met, from each experience I lived. These memories will be saved into my mind, and will help me in many moments through my life; but, since my first step in this place I could perceive some vibes which have reached my Soul during this time. That which can touch my Soul will stay forever, maybe, sometimes in the future, I won't be conscious of that Soul level. Whatever. In the depths of my sea I will be able to find this enviroment, and I will give thanks to the place of lovely kindness.

My stay at the Center Long was wonderful and just what i needed! Cooking for everyone was lovely and it was fun to experiment with new recipes. Everyone was really welcoming and there's lots of things to do if you enjoy quiet time by yourself. However, if you are looking for a social immersion, this might not be the place for you. I would always come back, thank you for having me (:
