La experiencia en general fue muy positiva.
L@s niñ@s son un encanto y la mujer de Sova cocina que es una maravilla 🤤. Estuve en una habitacion privada y la casa esta super bien, solo tienes que caminar 10 minutos y ver cono vivea gente local. La escuela esta a literal 10 pasos del alojamiento asi que tienes mucha facilidad de ir al colegio. Lo unico malo que esta un poco apartado de la ciudad y en Lolei no hay mucho que hacer pero para desconectar un poco esta genial. Muchas gracias por darme la oportunidad de formar parte de este maravilloso proyecto

Enseñar inglés fue increíblemente gratificante, a pesar de requerir mucha energía y creatividad. Los niños estaban comprometidos y deseosos de aprender y ver su progreso y comprensión crecer hizo cada momento valioso.
La familia anfitriona fue muy acogedora. La comida fue increíble, y sus hijos siempre sonreían y eran tan amables. La comunidad de la aldea fue igual de acogedora, a menudo entusiasmada para practicar su inglés cuando pasabas.
Si estás dispuesto a salir de tu zona de confort, esta experiencia es profundamente gratificante y reveladora. Me encantaría volver y la recomendaría mucho :)

Thank you for the incredible experience. I truly felt honored to be part of this organization. I was the only volunteer and taught English in all classes, from morning to evening. Over six meaningful days, I witnessed real progress. We connected through energy, body language, music, videos, creativity and joy. Sovannarith's family welcomed me with warmth, kindness, and open hearts. I felt deeply at home. This journey offered personal growth, cultural exchange, deep connection and unforgettable memories. For anyone seeking personal growth & a chance to give from the heart, I truly recommend.

Sovannarith and his family showed incredible hospitality cooking three very high quality meals a day. the village is remote but everyone is friendly and it is very rewarding teaching the children English in the hopes of changing their lives. Sovannarith has made a clean, free water station for the whole village which is important when it comes to health as before the village did not have access to clean water. Teaching was spread out through the day which meant you could go for walks and interact with the other people who live in the village.

My partner and I had an incredible time here in Sovann's village. We worked about 4-5 hours each day with classes spreadout between the morning and afternoon/evening. He gives you workbooks to teach the kids and how you decide to do it is up to you, so we had fun figuring out what worked best with all of our personalities. We ate plenty of food and Sovann really welcomed us into his home and made us feel comfortable. The bedroom gets quite hot so beware of that, but there are fans a fridge to keep waters. I would love to come back here and see Sovann and the kids! Thank you for everything!!

I wish I could have stayed longer! Sovannarith and his family were gracious and welcoming. There were lots of cats and dogs who liked to hang out in the front of the house, and I think it's because they can tell they will be well taken care of at Sovann's. I loved spending time teaching the kids, and learned a lot about local culture through the experience. I would recommend this to anyone hoping to learn more about themselves through teaching, and about Cambodian culture!

An amazing experience to connect to a local community and support the kids. You will be staying in the hosts home with basic living conditions. If you are fine with this, then you will have a great time with the kids. They are the best & the host family are all so lovely too! I did expect the host to communicate the tasks to me. There were a few volunteers there, so I ended up asking them. There are 2 class groups (A & B) with classes in the morning & late afternoon. It was nice having other volunteers there to pass the time or share tuk tuk journeys to centre, the location is a bit isolating!

Lo siento por lo ocurrido. En ese momento, como te dije, estaba llevando a otros voluntarios a un tour por Angkor Wat. Por eso no pude comunicarme contigo a tiempo.
Por lo general, cuando llegan nuevos voluntarios, deben unirse a los demás voluntarios y los voluntarios explicarán qué páginas y qué lecciones hay en las distintas clases.

Realicé una semana de voluntariado en una aldea bastante rural, en estrecho contacto con las familias locales. Ayudaba a los niños de la escuela primaria a mejorar su inglés: dos horas por la mañana y dos por la tarde. En mi tiempo libre, otros niños del pueblo solían venir a visitarnos a la casa al aire libre, donde pasábamos momentos despreocupados jugando a las cartas u otros juegos juntos.
